The brand new Fairfield Inn in Cabo is a little hidden gem that offers the luxury of the Marriott brand, new clean rooms, a breakfast buffet that is far superior to any USA Fairfield Inn, a good work out room and swimming pool and a staff that is ready and willing to serve. It is located 5 minutes walking from one of the best public beaches in Cabo, as well as 5 minutes fwalking rom the luxury mall and a few outstanding restuarants. For those "who eat to live", a McDonalds is half a block away. For those who don't want the pricey resorts this is a great alternative.

Ann and i travel the world from our home in Cabo San Lucas. One night the power failed and we checked into the new Fairfield Inn as we were tired and ready for some shut-eye.

Parking was real close. Security gave us the easy feeling.
The hotel lobby was modern, clean and tidy.
The room was brand new and fresh. Good Linen.
Lots of water pressure. Toiletries provided.
Near to mini-markets, liquor supplies.
Short Walking distance to a few really good restaurants.
15 minute walk to the core of Cabo San Lucas, and safe as well.
15 minutes to the beach !
Staff got us through the morning after breakfast. Typical Mexican, but options are there.

Would recommend to those who are here for a short stay.

Stayed at the Fairfied Inn over Thanksgiving and it exceeded my expectations, while in a resort town it is a business hotel and is convienent to the Marina and Beaches and Walmart if you want. Hotel is extreemly clean, Breakfast changed daily, in addition to the hot foods the basics were always there. My room overlooked the pool which always had clean towels on each chair. Front Desk was eager to help me in anyway they could and English was spoken and unserstood....as you come out the front door to the left are places like Dominos Pizza, Mcdonalds and the mexican version of a 7/11. After that is the Mall then the Marina, all within a five minute walk. If you walk to the right you head up to Walmart / Sams Club, maybe a 10-15 minute walk. At all times I was alone but always felt safe. I was not out much after dark. Cost of the hotel and things from the pantry were reasonable, even cheap compared to US Hotels. weather over thanksgiving was very pleasant. Internet was reliable and always on, TV had large crosssection of US stations, Safe and refriderator in the room. I liked it so much i am heading back for five days in January. I used TransBaja Transportation for transportation to and from the airport, traveled alone round trip cost for one $35, they were professional and on time both directions (shared van) -Bob-
