“An amazing trip”

I stayed at this resort for a week with two friends and we had an AMAZING time. We kept commenting on how everyone who worked here was so friendly! We scored a room higher up and had an amazing view of the entire beach. We could walk to the sky pool easily so we spend most of our days there.
We loved the convenience of the golf carts to take you everywhere but after just one day we felt comfortable navigating the property ourselves so walking the property was fun. And since we were indulging in the food and alcohol, it was great to walk it off each day. We walked down to the beach each day and enjoyed walking along the water. This time of year we got to see whales all day long and mantra ray jumping out of the water!
The food was, in one word, incredible!! We went to Frida's for dinner one night which is an absolute must! Every little attention to detail was truly appreciated (including the table side bar that made one of the best martinis I've had in along time). Next time, we are ordering the Mexican Coffee! We also took part in the Sunday Brunch which was huge! I never knew you could have so many options for one meal. And the best part about this resort is all the happy hours at the different bars and pools. So many drinks choices.....so little time!
The free shuttle to the other resorts was so convenient but you are also so close to town that the $10.00 for a cab ride is a steal. We loved going into Cabo for the nightlife but loved being able to come back to our resort! We definitely recommend the Nowhere Bar, Happy Ending and the Hookah Bar!
Overall, it was an amazing trip and we are already planning our return next year!

“Dependable”

Just returned from a week at Sunset Beach. We've made multiple visits to SB and have yet to be disappointed. In fact it gets better every year as we know our way around and have favorite restaurants, pools, and vistas. Todos Santos is a must see day trip and do stop at Art & Beer (milepost 69) for an appetizer and libation. SB is quiet and very relaxing. Staff is very attentive. Two suggestions for mgmt - reduce wireless Internet charge at the room (2 free sites) and enforce no reserving lounges at main pool.

“Awesome place to stay!”

First off...If you are reading these reviews to decide on staying at PBSB or not, please remember that everyone has an opinion and they would not feel right if they didn't complain about something! I traveled with my in-laws who are extensive travelers and they could not stop raving at how nice the resort was, and how they would come back no questions asked! Take my word on this and take all negative reviews with a grain of salt, or you will miss out on a great experience!

That said...We were traveling for the first time with our 6 month old, and we could not have picked a more accommodating resort! They were very helpful in getting everything we needed to make our trip with the little one a great one!

The rooms were great...food was great...service was top notch...cart service was excellent...grounds were amazing...etc, you get the picture right?

The only couple of improvements that management should make would be more Wi-Fi and less Timeshare pressure. There are a couple of free hotspots available but at times they were even spotty. I also over heard that even when you pay daily for Wi-Fi, it was questionable. The Coffee Shop had excellent Wi-Fi, and was a great spot to start the day and get online if you needed.

My theory on the timeshare situation is this....If you tell someone "No Thank you" when they start the spill, then they should say, "Thank you for your time" and walk away. We were asked repeatedly (3+) by the same person and it started to get old.

By no means are the above complaints any reason NOT to stay at PBSB! The positives out weigh any and all negatives!

I have a couple of "Shout Outs" to a couple of the staff members, and be sure you ask for them if you can. Leonardo "Leo" at The Bistro was one of the best waiters I have had at any of the resorts that I have been to. Any night that we choose to eat at The Bistro, we asked to be in his area and he always took very good care of us! Then Alejandro down at the main pool bar. I am very picky about my Margaritas and he was my hook-up at the pool area! He always had me a "Top Shelf" with any Tequila I wanted, ready and waiting! Thanks guys for great service!

Finally...I had seen some earlier comments wondering if the resort would have issues when they offered the "All-Inclusive" option. Well we were AI and we were treated with excellent service, so if you are a fan of AI, then I would recommend it.

This all said...we look forward to our next visit!!

Room Tip: I felt our room (#3122) was in an ideal location. It was half way between the lobby and the main poo...

“Amazing 7 Day Vacation....”

This was my second time at this resort as a guest, I totally enjoyed this visit even more than last time. I took advantage of enjoying the resort's many pools and daily happy hour. Everyone that works there was so accommodating, friendly and fun. We woke every morning to a fabulous sunrise. Our view was absolutely amazing, saw more whales than I have ever seen in my life, what an amazing show they put on.
Found free wifi on a regular basis by the main pool, never had a problem connecting.
The Bistro has very good food, ate there 3 times over the week. Had yummy burgers and fries atthe sky pool.

There was 10 people in our group, we had 4 rooms and they were all awesome ( although I think our room in building 10 was the best)

One of the best vacations ever, very comparable to a cruise.

“One of the Best Ever”

we were surprised by the size and beauty of the resort. The landscape was breathtaking and the view of the sunrise and sunset over the ocean was overwhelming. Our one bedroom unit was very spacious. Check-in was quick and hassel free. The restaurants were staffed by courteous employees and the food great. The golf cart services was available for those who didn't want to walk and there was never a long wait for one. We enjoyed the walk throughout the resort to enjoy the scenery and to get some exercise. Occassionally we would see a whale from our balcony or as we strolled along the white sandy beach which was very clean. This is one resort we will definitely visit again.

Room Tip: Corner suites are larger
