Stayed in a Marina view condo from October 1st to the 9th and couldn't be more pleased! Very private with easy access and very convienent to the activities of the marina and down town proper. We fished with Redrum and I was right above the office so easy access to the boats in the morning and also close for good dining and a watering hole or two! Rooms are spacious and clean, small kitchenette with plenty of room for a fridge full of whatever you choose. I felt very secure and never worried about my valuables. Security was always present every time I walked through the lobby. Rooms have small safes and mine had a flat screen TV to boot. Price was very fair and the view was to die for, if you like watching million dollar sportfishing yachts drifting by your window!! Thanks MCP.

Since I arrived in Cabo on a Tuesday afternoon I needed a place to stay until Saturday which was my check-in date at my timeshare at Cabovillas. Through word of mouth I decided to stay at the condos at Marina Cabo Plaza. These condos have million dollar views of the marina and some units are located right above the RedRum fishing office. The location puts you within a few minutes walk of the mall and all major downtown bars and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable with nice beds, air conditioning, television, nice showers, terraces and room safes. Some of the units also have BBQ grills if you prefer to prepare your meals. Another huge advantage of staying in these condos is that you actually have daily access to the facilities at the Marina Fiesta which is a beautiful property right on the marina. If you are not a beach person and prefer to hang out in a pool this is the ideal scenarion for you. We booked a week in a condo at Marina Cabo Plaza . The location was good and the view of the marina was nice. The condos are all privately owned. The condo we rented was in need of a good clean ( moldy shower curtain,dirty grill etc. It was in some disrepair also. The towelrack in the bath was broken so we had to hang our towels in the hallway on some hooks. My biggest complaint was the noise. There was construction going on in the building,there is a new resort being built behind the condos.the club noise went all night and the the fishing fleet business downstairs started very early in the a.m. so pretty much 24/7. We were ready to leave on day four and finally left a day early. The owner said he would compensate us but never did. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you like to stay up all night and sleep on the beach during the day.

We had a wonderful time at the Marina Sol Resort. We were a group of 20 somethings, but were definitely the youngest people there. The resort was filled with mostly older couples, most of which who lived or owned a condo at the location. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay where you wont be bothered by the loud young people of the nightlife, you will enjoy the Marina Sol. Although we wanted to stay somewhere close to the nightlife, we didnt want to stay somewhere in town where the noise never quits. If you're looking for a hotel that's located close to the nightlife, shopping and the beach, this is the place to stay. The beach is just a short walk away, although it is up a steep hill and was a killer in the hot sun, but it was no big deal. The Oasis Grill, located at the Marina Sol Resort made it very convenient for starving vacationers looking for somewhere to eat very close. We ate breakfast there every morning and dinner almost every night. Exceptional food and wonderful drinks. We stayed in a privately owned condominium at Marina Sol, so we didnt get to experience maid service, but I did feel very safe within the building, with a security gaurd close by at all times and the structure only had one door to enter from the outside. They supplied a key to exit to the main street so as to access the way to the beach. We never used a taxi the entire time we were there, because everything was so conveniently close. The only problem that we had with the Marina Sol Resort was the plumbing. When we first arrived, after flushing the toilets and taking showers the bathrooms would fill with horrible smells. Absolutely terrible smells that would eventually dissapate after a while. Because we were staying in a privately owned condominium, this was not necessarily the responsibility of the resort itsself, but most likely the owner of the condo. I let the owner know as soon as we returned home. Besides the plumbing we had a wonderful time at the Marina Sol, enjoying their hospitible service and spectacular pool.
