It might not be easy to find for some (no problem with a GPS), but it's absolutely worth the effort. Cabo San Lucas is a very busy, touristy place and it's wonderful to withdraw to your little oasis after a crazy day in town.

We have run a hotel ourselves in rural China and can appreciate when an owner or manager looks a bit further than their own nose and Martin and Irene both do a great job. This place is perfect for camping, for small RVs, they have beautiful rooms and even an apartment. The tropical garden lets you forget that you are actually in walking distance to the busy town. The nights are quiet, waking up is a pleasure as the first thing you see are colourful birds, trees and flowers. The swimming pool is a bliss after a hot day! It's all kept very well, it's clean and tidy and the owners are constantly improving and making it a very cozy, homely place. We'd love to stay longer!

I'm kind of surprised by the negative review below. I've been meaning to write about Club Cabo since I stayed there last year. I'd come to town to stay a few nights and so camped (tented) for almost weeks here. Also plenty of room for RV's. It was pleasant, clean, safe behind the locked gate and I met all sorts of fellow travelers, both campers and hotelers --- motorcyclists, bicyclists, too. Martin and Irene can accommodate just about any traveler and their needs that others places cannot.

. I wound up staying in Los Cabos 6 more weeks and after searching around town for a short-term rental, I decided that the best value for the money was, in-fact, Club Cabo. I had one of the lower cabanas and love my outdoor kitchen and sitting area. I had an indoor, secure bedroom and bathroom with AC (which I never needed, even in July). Each morning I'd have some coffee, walk over to the veranda by the office and get online. Irene and Martin serve up free WIFI and with my Magic Jack could make free calls back to Canada and the US. I used the pool alot and would also walk down to the beach along that "dusty" trail (all of 7 minutes) next to the Riu Resort. I never felt unsafe. But then again, I didn't walk there after dark. And their two dogs Brandy and Rusty would play with me each day, too. The occasional shared meal with the owners was always a pleasant treat. They also steered me to the best cleaners, chiropractor and other amenities. Easy access to town on foot, by car or why not rent one of their bicycles?

This quirky and rustic place is a true gem of a find in a sea of hotels and properties that seem to all look alike. Contact me if in doubt. I will be staying here again on my next trip down to Cabo San Lucas.

Great hidden secret. Club Cabo is Hard to find but well worth the effort .
Here you can roll back the clock and experience Cabo the way it use to be before all the big hotels moved in. Martin the owner will even sing Elvis songs if you want. That's how far back you can roll the clock :)
I stayed in the back by the pool . The large room was very clean and the bed comfartable.
If you are looking for a unique experience this is it.
Martin and Irene "the owners" are always ready to help .
They even invited me for dinner one night and it felt like familly.
They have outdoor bbq's and it is also ideal for camping .
I have a golden retriever wich travels with me all the time.
Pets are welcome here.
But there is already two friendly well behaved dogs on site in case you can't bring your own.
Weather you are just passing through or want a place for the whole winter you can find it here.
I walked to the main beach from there where all the activities are.
It is a bit of a hike but it is away from trafic and therefore a pleasant trail.
Overall I Had a good experience and I am looking to go back soon.

This is isn't your typical hotel chain type of place, which is a plus as far as I’m concerned, especially in a resort town like Cabo. It is a little quirky and off the beaten track (yes, down a dirt road), but it is also very quiet, clean and inexpensive. Within their compound I never had to worry about my rental car being sideswiped or broken in to at night. I found Irene and Martin friendly and open. They are who they are, which included running a fun, impromptu karaoke session one night and Irene’s lemongrass tea. I was a woman travelling alone for a few days and the Club Cabo Inn made a safe, secure base from which to enjoy the area.

I’d stay there again anytime.
