I recently had to make an emergency trip to Cabo San Lucas as a friend had become hospitalized. The AmeriMed Hospital (which is across the street from the hotel) referred me to this hotel during my stay.

I have to admit my expectations were fairly low. When I opened the door to the room I was taken aback by how small the room was.

However, I quickly discovered that the hotel was kept very clean. The staff were very helpful and kind during my stay.

My room was kept very clean. The room's air conditioner kept the room very cool. In fact the first night was maybe a bit too cool. One of the advantages of the room being small was that the air conditioner could cool it down in a hurry.

All in all if you are looking for a very nice budget hotel for your stay in Cabo San Lucas I would feel comfortable reccomending this hotel.

the seven crown looks a bit sketchy from the outside but is surprisingly clean and well maintained. Dont get me wrong this is definetly a budget hotel. Very Very Budget. But if you just want a place to keep your stuff while you are at the beach all day and out partying all night this place is fine. I think we slept about 6 hours total of the 72 we were there. We had previously stayed at the Hilton Los Cabos but found it was too far from all the nightlife. the rooms are very tiny and the beds are like concrete slabs bolted to the wall. Weird. There is nothing dangerous about the area as some previous reviews said. That may be your impression if you have not traveled much especially in Mexico or Central America. the location is actually very convenient and you can walk to the beach. although this is not a beach hotel; it is for people who are really really cheap but just need a Cabo fix. I would recommend this hotel for young people that dont have alot of money and want to pary in Cabo. If you dont fit that category and just want to stay here to save money you should probably just stay home.

I choose this place based on what people said, and they were right. I had an excellent location, not too close to downtown, 10-15 minute walk, which was perfect. Ocean was 6 min away, didnt need a taxi or anything else to get around. Rooms were clean, quiet and cool. The hotel two doors down looked really bad. Almost choose that one seven crown, almost made the wrong decision. Very happy with my choice and wopld definately stay again when i go back. No worries.

The hotel was very clean and the desk personnel was very helpful when we were not picked up by the shuttle, Edwardo made several phone calls for us and made arrangments for a taxi and told the driver who to see at the airport for payment. We enjoyed our stay here.
