I have stayed at The Bungalows more than on 8 separate occasions. I guess you can probably call it a habit by now. IT IS THE BEST! The Bungalows Hotel adds a different type of Cabo experience. If you need or are looking for the loud, crazy, drunken fest of a hotel...this would not be your choice. If you are looking for peace, tranquility, relaxing and homey...this is your place. The rooms are all spacious and bright and cheery. The rooms are ALWAYS clean and inviting. The grounds are lovely, luscious and quiet. The breakfast is the best around, bar none. And...on top of everything, the staff is more than amazing. Estella and Eric are the best team. Nothing is too much and they are always willing to help with everything. Truly this hotel is a hidden treasure! It's the best and Cabo wouldn't be the same without this GEM! I would recommend this hotel for anyone interested in a quality, relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable vacation.

We just returned from our holiday and we totally enjoyed ourselves. The Bungalows is a cute, cozy place that really makes you feel at home. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite which is awesome...you have your own patio and can see the sunset every morning or wine at night. Estalla dn Erik were super hosts and I can't say enough about them. Erik was a gracious host and helped me with a cell phone issue and recommended some great restaurants that all panned out for us. Estella was super as well...my wife has celiac and Estella had the ladies prepare her breakfasts (which are incredible) gluten free which was a total and pleasant surprise. Breakfast were delicious and healthy....fresh juice, fruit, etc on a beautiful patio with a fountain and the turtles!
We found ourselves making a real friendship with Erik, Estella and the ladies. We felt totally at home. My wife and I fell in love with Valentina...;)
I have read a few negative comments on here and would like to address them. The walk is a 5 minute walk to town which is totally safe and we enjoyed it as it felt good after a big meal. Also...if you like to go out and have a few cocktails....you are literally 5-10 minutes from anywhere in town which is nice. We stay here on purpose as we dislike resorts (tourists traps) and like to be away from them. We rent a car and go to different quiet beaches, towns (Todos Santos - got to see it!).
Great place with super hosts...we'll miss them! question. The price is great and the hotel is just what we were looking for.
We will be returning within the year this time with our children...

We just got back from a quick stay in Cabo. We had never been there before and had no idea what to expect. We are so glad that we chose to stay at The Bungalows Hotel! Erik and his mom are incredible hosts. The breakfasts served daily were delicious! Erik told of us some local restaurants that were incredible. The Bungalows are maybe a 10 minute walk to the marina, gift shops, bars, and more! We knew we did not want to rent a car and found The Bungalows close enough to most that we wanted to do. As stated in a couple of the other reviews, The Bungalows Hotel is located in a small neighborhood and you will hear some dogs barking, cars going by etc. but it is not a big deal. In going back we would definitely stay at The Bungalows Hotel. It is beautiful!

My wife & I just got back from the most relaxing & wonderful week long stay at Cabo Bungalows. The property is inviting from the moment you step out of the cab. Hummingbirds flit about the abundant Bougainvillea as you walk through the archway into a tropical paradise. Palm trees, fountains and hammocks provide the perfect cool shaded respite from the always sunny Cabo beaches. The property is a short walk uphill overlooking downtown Cabo. We appreciated the walk, working off the wonderful meals & drinks from the plethora of awesome restaurants and bars to choose from! Concierge Eric & chef Estella make everyone feel welcome - take their advice for excursions & the best restaurants. Whales are plentiful this time of year. We enjoyed strolling among the art galleries in Cabo & San Jose & especially had fun at the art festival in downtown Cabo held every Thursday. The breakfasts were scrumptious - especially the Bungalows Benedict! We also met some truly wonderful people from all over. Best value & experience in Cabo!
