This is our fifth visit to the Villa del Palmar over a 10 year period. We've stay other places in Cabo and keep coming back - mainly for the quality of the hotel and the price. We always get a great deal. On the positive side the room with the ocean view and Land's End is terrific. We've always asked for an Ocean View. The staff are wonderful, especially the tennis pro and the activities desk. They offer Spanish lessons three days a week, free paddle board lessons and great tennis clinics - all free. The pools are nice, the hot tub overlooks the Sea of Cortez and the beach is quiet even with the local venders.
They have changed the restaurant down by the beach and we prefered the old menu of nachos and hamburgers for snacks instead of a high end Italian restaurant during the day.It's a great location to branch out and walk to town or ride the local buses for cultural diverstiy.

I just returned from my stay at the Villa Del Palmar and I must say it was wonderful! After reading some reviews I was a bit sceptical of the resort, but once I arrived my opinion changed. We got a great deal on the all inclusive package and stayed 5 nights. Our room was recently updated with everything we needed! The food was very good contrary to some other reviews and I can be a bit of a restraunt snob! The service was great...we had no issues with anything during our stay! Beautiful place and great location!! I would go back in a second!

We stayed here for two weeks and had a great and relaxing time. The staff were excellent, most spoke quite good English and were anxious to help and make the stay enjoyable. The view from our balcony was remarkable, looking right out to 'Lands End'. We did do the all inclusive package, and the food was very good, but I would not book all-inclusive for the whole time next visit. We did not realize how close to town and how accessible so many other restaurants would be. But for this time, no regrets!

This hotel was really good, stayed here on vacation with my wife a couple years ago and just thought I'd give a little input since I still think about the awesome time we had on this vacation. You know we are the type of vacationers that don't spend a whole lot of time at the hotel we're staying at unlike some people who pay for all inclusive and rarely get out and live it up. Anyway this place was great! It was VERY nice and clean. One day we had kinda stayed out late and we slept in and found out that during the day they have a DJ at the pool with loud music and a cash party atmosphere. From the lobby to the privvy the hotel was just spotless. The bar was great with awesome drinks! The pools were spectacularly nice and the view of the ocean from our room was the best!! They offered the most wonderful sunrises I had ever experienced. The morning of my birthday I was awakened by the crashing surf, (didn't happen every day, must've just been rough seas that day) I thought that was pretty neat. At the time we were there in 2008 there wasn't much built around the hotel so it was kinda out of the way and away from the center of the city but the bus system made it very easy to hop a bus and get downtown quickly. The place was great for our visit.
