Checked out tripadvisor before i booked, saw mainly good comments and a few bad thought I'd book anyway. Point of the trip was to be in Cape Breton for the changing of the leaves.
Anna sent me an email 6 days before our arrival date saying that she was sorry but she would not be around to host me as she had gotten a job out west, needless to say I was less than impressed.
Further more i had originally posted the actual email Anna sent however it was removed as you are unable to post quotes on tripadvisor and someone complained about this, I can only assume it was Anna as i responded to her cancellation email stating that i posted it to this website.
Just thought i would share. And found it interesting that no attempt was made to retain us as customers in the form of a discount on future stays, or something...............
I can tell you i would never book with her again.
FYI: We ended up booking at Oakwood Manor and it was excellent.
