What a relief to arrive here for 2 nights after leaving Los Jitos!!
The desk staff was helpful, and the property was in good repair.
The room itself was in good condition, clean, and had secure locks. The bed was comfortable( after sleeping on the bed at Los Jitos which was like sleeping on a road as it was so hard and uncomfortable, this was appreciated). My room afforded a view of the pool area( which did get a little noisy with a group of teenagers but not at times when I was sleeping) and the ocean, and had a small balcony.I did not use the pool as I prefer the ocean, but it appeared clean and well-maintained. The plumbing was better than in some hotels and coffeemaker, bottled water, and hairdryer( which was great!!) were provided.
The location was fine for me; I drove to the beaches.
I did eat at the hotel restaurant one evening and had a wonderful vegetarian meal ( finding veggie options can be difficult)... vegetables ( carrots, potatoes, cauliflower, cactus, and broccoli) served in a hot stone in a broth with white cheese and served with tortillas.... good value for 90 pesos. The hotel threw in a couple of free marguerita coupons also on check-in.
Continental breakfast was served in the lobby... included in price... not the best but adequate... skillet eggs (with some kind of meat in them!) sliced bread for toasting, a breakfast cake/loaf, mini donuts, coffee, tea, bananas and oranges, sweetened drinks( versus juice ) and 2 types of (heavily)sweetened cereal.
There is a popular bar/restaurant opposite the hotel ( Charly's Rock) .... no noise problems in October but could be an issue during the season.(?)
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and good value for $56.00.
I would stay there again.
