San Miguel de Allende is very small,so , location is good, but not so important.Staff is nice, room is big with safe.Nothing special, but has what you need in a hotel.It was a bit expensive for mexican standards.

we booked based on the pictures inernet site very very good fotografer terrible place dirty smelly we were a gruop of 7 rooms very bad experiance the pool was swampy the room smell of cigarret no hot water in shower the list goes on ,......... etc eduardo@transcontainer.com.mx

Wife, son, and I stayed for a couple of days on a Master Suite, since no other room was available. Paid a fortune for a room that is ok. Small living room with kitchen, two rooms, and a bathroom. HVAC worked ok.

Restaurant and pool are among the worst things I have seen. Pool was tiny, freezing, and water green! Grass around the pool was all mud. The restaurant is built on the roof of the newer (uglier) building. There are so many places to eat in San Miguel, but we had breakfast there only because it was included.

Staff at reception did not help much. My travel agent got confused and made a reservation at the Doña Urraca in Queretaro. Beware of the web page, it has same reservation number.

So many nice hotels in San Miguel, this is not one of them.

I will never go back to that hotel, they gave us a room near the reception, at night we heard every guest coming in and out, also the curtains did not cover the whole windows so there was light inside the room!
We did not reat at all! and that was the whole purpose of the trip....also food at the restuarnat was terrible
