This bed and breakfast is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The outside street door opens onto an absolutely lovely garden area with sculptures and fountains. This was much appreciated after a hectic day of walking and shopping in San Miguel. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We didn't even hear the infamous bells. The organic made-to-order breakfasts were wonderful every morning.

The only complaint I had was that it was a bit cold througout the bed and breakfast. I wore my sweater any time I left our room. The staff did provide a portable heater so sleeping was very pleasant.

“A haven of peace in the middle of San Miguel”

When I first arrived in San Miguel, I stayed at another posada, but there was always noise (music, other guests) that interferred with my sleep. When I looked for an alternative, most all the other posadas were over $200, which is expensive for Mexico. Then I saw an ad in the local newspaper for Posada Corazon, and went to see it. Not only was it only two blocks from the central square in San Miguel, it was a private home in the middle of a lovely garden. Calm at last! It cost $90 (single) and had a beautiful bougainvillier vine growing on the terrace next to my room. Their library is well-stocked; it's like visiting a friend in San Miguel. And their breakfast was really excellent; they make their own bread.

Highly recommended!

I stayed here with 3 friends in the summer of 2005. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, and the entire place was beautifully furnished.
