There isn't anything we would change about our stay at Susurro. My husband and I were greeted by Robert Waters, the gracious owner and host of Susurro. Our room, one of four offered, was spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated that the TV was hidden behind a painting since we didn't feel the need to watch it. The sunny patio outside the french doors was surrounded by plants, well cared for by Susurro's gardener. We started the day being served a delicious, home cooked breakfast. Every day, there was a different hot Mexican specialty, with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee served in the beautiful dining room. Robert joined us and gave us information and recommendations. He made arrangements and reservations based on our likes and budget. The location is ideal. The neighborhood is safe as well as any part of San Miguel that you might wish to walk. If you tire of walking, the taxis are fair, charging by zone and inexpensive. We stayed five days and wished we could have stayed longer. Although we are not "dog people", we didn't mind Zeke, a well behaved, clean and quiet dog who lives at Susurro. There are lovely common areas to sit, have a drink, read or chat with other guests. Coming back at night after a day of touring and walking, we knew we would relax and have a good sleep at Susurro.
Room Tip: We stayed in Pinas, which was very comfortable. If our budget allows, next time we would stay in Re...
