It is hard to exaggerate how much I enjoyed my stay at Las Terrazas...I absolutely had a perfect trip.

First of all, Kathi is an unbelievably intuitive and caring hostess. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome, safe and happy. All of the staff works hard to ensure the comfort of the guests...and I was very comfortable (and well fed).

Also, the setting is perfect. The location is wonderful and the actual unit is devine. For a woman traveling alone it offered every convenience. I loved my patio and the views are so lovely.

Las Terrazas was such a beautiful place with every convenience necessary for a grat time. There was puerified water throughout which was wonderful. Each casita has a full kitchen along with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and a living room. The outdoor patio for each Casita was a real bonus

The service was great and the breakfast choices were so inviting. I would love to go back the next times we are in San Miguel

I found SMA completely by accident but it was TripAdvisor's impressive reviews that brought me to Las Terrazas. Greg had the Mariposa available and it was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment Melissa and I strolled down the hill to the last dinner we had it was nothing less than perfect. We never left the city, we slept in everyday, Kathy took great care of us and Matti's smile was like an angel. The views from the terrace were amazing, the interior art collection was extensive, and the accomadations left nothing, and I mean nothing to be desired. Every detail was thought of, and meticuluously cared for. Guys if you are serious about a beautiful destination to take your bride where you'll be treated like you are at the Ritz, SMA and Laz Terrazas will exceed all expectations.

It had been two long years since we had been guests at Las Terrazas. I don't know how it could get better but it did. This time I brought my daughter-in-law and two grandaughters. Sophie 12, Gwen 8. They just adored the accomodations and the attention from Kathi the "house mother".They enjoyed Kathi's two beautiful well trained dogs. Kathi custom ordered their breakfast menu, and brought down DVDs geared at young audiences.

We stayed in Casa Grillo the two bedroom unit. It had a full kitchen,2BRs, 2 baths a reception hallway, and living/dining room. Two patios and outside hanging gardens with gurgling fountains. We were greeted with fresh flowers, cold wine, and milk in the refridgerator.The decor was a tasteful blend of Mexican and contemporary.And most important to me the bedding was deliciously luxurios and comfortable. The lighting was particularily skillful. This all broke down to $40 per person a night. I defy you to find a better value in all of San Miguel.
