Having stayed at the Fiesta Inn on an extended business trip for several months, I can say that the Hotel staff / personnel from the shuttle driver to the Manager were all very good. Could the rooms use a bit of a make over? Probably, but for the business traveller who does not spend much time in the room it becomes a moot point.
I particularly liked the on call room service - briskly efficient for Mexico, except for one flubbed order. The person (Sandra) who took my oerder was mortified and apologised profusely for the mix -up. I rate that as top notch customer service.
Because of the large grounds area, it does offer a respite from the chaotic Avenida Hidalgo race track / main traffic artery, and it's easy to sit by the pool and read a book, have a beer / sandwich brought out, etc
The location is very well situated and with 15 mins walking you can find just about everything you need
