“The most perfect experience on the planet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2010

My husband and I travel a lot for work and fun. So when it came time for us to plan our wedding, we knew wanted it to be in an initimate, beach setting, which made Tulum a great destination... but honestly, staying at Milamores made the experience better than I could have hoped. We had all of our friends and family staying in Villa 1 & 2 and feedback from everyone was that the rooms and overall set-up of the property was amazing. We also held the wedding on the property and it couldn't have been a better setting.
Pamela, her husband and the entire staff made us feel like we had run of the houses. They were friendly and available when we had questions or needed help and never imposing. One of the other highlights was the fantastic chef who had a new special with whatever was caught that day (and the salsa & guacamole rocks!).
When we see our friends and family, they still stalk about how much fun they had. I think we will have to throw an anniversary party there in a couple of years.

“Wedding at Milamores”

We got married at Milamores of May 8th 2010 and it was an absolutely amazing experience. This is obviously not our first time at the hotel (since we got married here) and I have reviewed before but I really want to let people know about the great service thanks to the new staff they have hired. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous it consiststs of two villas on 200 yards of pristine beach front. The layout and decor are unlike anything else we saw on the beach it is not typical of the tulum cabanas.
Pamela and Alberto are the hotel managers/owners and did an amazing job getting everything ready for our wedding. They were able to set the reception up exactly how we had pictured under the shells in No me olvides. The property itself was perfect for the wedding but most people aren't getting married there (though if you're thinking about a destination wedding I would highly reccomend you check it out). Outside of the wedding we there for 16 nights total and the bartenders/waiters, the cleaning staff ,the chef and el capitan treated us amazingly. They along with Pamela and Alberto made us feel like we were amongst family even before our guests arrived! There was service in the cantina, on the beach and also in your room if you requested it. The rooms are stunning (we stayed in room 1 which is huge with two decks but all the rooms we saw were gorgeous) I honestly cannot think of anything they could do to better at Milamores everything was absolutely perfect!

“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2010

Amazing room, the beach is a screen saver, the food is fresh from the sea and the people that make it are true chefs. The service has to be top of the line and everyone will make you feel like a king. Mil Amores is the type of place you never want to leave.

“warm, gracious service--beautiful property and rooms!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 March 2010

i won't say too much, as it seems other are echoing our sentiment about how good an experience we had. the "new" staff/management is warm, gracious, thoughtful and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met (including arranging to have replacement contact lenses brought in from playa del carmen after mine were sucked out of my eyes by the beautiful---but salty--ocean!). the room we had was spacious, cozy and comfortable and the design details--tile, woodwork, etcc--are elegant, understated, unique and unpretentious. we were thrilled and hope to return next year.
