The room was great. We had originally rented a room with no view thinking that we were going to be in the room only at night, but upon arrival they offered us a better room with a great view and a balcony, and we were really happy with that choice in the end. Sitting on the balcony having a glass of wine while looking at the ocean was awesome. We rented bikes , which was great! Not far from other restaurants and bars, the Mayan Ruins, the little town. Great breakfast at the hotel. The room was big and bathroom as well. I would stay here again and would recommand the hotel to anyone: Families, couple, friends! The staff was so friendly!

Owners were very nice but the standard room we stayed in was dark and damp, the sheets had stains on them and the towels and curtains were old looking, bleached and off colour. We don't insist on luxury, just somewhere bright, clean and well maintained, but as far as our room was concerned it was more like a basic, budget accomodation. And I wouldn't stay here without a can of bug killer spray (to spray on the bugs, not yourself).

An excellent little boutique hotel, in some ways it is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Definitely for those looking to get away from large charm-less chain hotels and who prefer something with character and quirks.
The location was fantastic, directly on the beach,five minutes away from a little "village" but in a quiet street with cafes and restaurants. It is a great base for a short stay in Tulum.
The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable with, in our case, a huge functional bathroom and a beautiful terrace with a great view .Our room has also a small courtyard garden between two buildings, so the room was private and light at the same time. The hotel serves wine and snacks in the guest lounge from early evening and breakfast is served overlooking the beach in the morning.
The restaurant is for sure the best part of Posada Margherita, probably one of the most popular in this area, with very good food and amazing service.
We thought the hotel was great and good value, we would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I came to Mexico for a family wedding. Arrangements had been made for us by the wedding party.
Check-in was a pleasure....our room was ready early, the staff was so friendly and helpful.
Everytime we came downstairs to the restaurant someone greeted us...very often by name, asked what we had planned for the day...made suggestions.
We felt really comfortable and very welcome.
Our room was lovely and the hotel was located on the best part of the beach that we were able to walk to other restaurants and bars or to pick up a taxi to go to Tulum Town.
We look forward to returning to this gem of a hotel.
