My room was fantastic down to the picture of frieda kahlo on the wall.I was there for a wedding and I was at several places on the beach to compare it with.my room was simply the best!

If there were places on this Earth to name "Eden", Tita Tulum Hotel Ecologico is by far my vote. Built into the pristene powdery white sands of the Yucatan, These cabanas are rustic old Mexico style with modern amenities. Each has a "Double hammock landing" in front of each building facing the Carribean Sea. The staff is polite and helpfull, but give you "Your space to descomprimir--(Decompress), and this is NOT to be confused with avoidance. Their goal for guests is to let them only hear "Wind & Sea"--Mission accomplished, and Thank You!!!! Did I mention the food? OMG, Superb. Authentic, made fresh from local vendors every day. TRY THE QUESO FUNDITO AS AN APPETIZER. Go for lunch and You'll be thinking of staying at Hotel Tita forever. Tell them "Chicago Joe" sent you....

Had 3 nights here. Relative to the prices of other places along the water this was pretty good, but the hotel itself seemed a bit old. It was clean and tidy, but the sheets, curtains etc just seemed a bit old and weary. It had great hot water and electricity 24 hours. Food (b'fast only) was also great. Difficult to get variety for dinner as not many places in the area seemed to have reasonably priced food and difficult to walk around the other hotels in the dark! (Bring a torch!)

What can i say , the cabanas on the beach are just what we looked for the food excellent , the beach just perfect and clean , Tita and her Staff always ready to help and acomodate you. Thank you for Cooking my fancy requests even though not on menu . We spend a beautifull week there and sad to leave Most definatly will see you again, Even in high season this place has that feeling of paradise and not be overcrouded . did take a peak at other places but concensus was naaaa....
