My husband and I spent several months at Residence Kohunlich and felt very welcomed and were treated with extra tender love and care from beginning to end. The owners Vivianna and Armanno were very helpful in guiding us along when needed with all our travel needs. Their cheerful and helpful staff Isabella and Basillio are missed. The time is heading near to our return for yet another extended stay in Tulum and we will be thrilled to see all their smiling faces again.

I highly recommend Residence Kohunlich particularily if a kitchen is a must.

The Italian owners are very friendly and nice. Place is very clean and opened. The place is a few bloks away from the city, surrrounded by trees and peace and that is his charm. If you need a day off from the beach, you can just enjoy day by the pool, reading a good book, while your friend, houseband or wife is preparing a good meal. You can stay here more days, because there is much to see around Tulum.

We just returned from an excellent vacation in Tulum. We stayed at the Condos Kohunlich and we thrilled with the place. Because downtown Tulum has become a beehive of activity downtown with constant traffic and noise the super quiet location just 1.5 blocks off the Cancun-Tulum Highway a minute from downtown was perfect. It really is like a park with trees and grass surrounding the property on all sides. There was no traffic noise at all. We thought about staying in a small beach hotel, but, did not like the idea of limited electricity and rustic bungalows. We are also not the all-inclusive vacation types. We loved it in our paradise of tranquility at Kohunlich Condos.
The condos are clean, comfortable and very well appointed with all you need right down to a normal sized fridge with a freezer. They have everything in the kitchen you need to feed a family of four even a blender for making margaritas for hanging out by the pool. All the balconies have hammocks for enjoying the breezes while overlooking the pool and trees. The grounds are meticulously maintained. It is a beautiful setting.
We felt we would need AC in Tulum in August. We were assured, when we enquired for a reservation, that we would not need AC. She said the ceiling fans would be more than adequate, if we even used them at all. The reservations person said the condos are much cooler than the hotels in town because they are not surrounded by other buildings, cement sidewalks and blacktop pavement. And, she was right. The condos were breezy and cool. That’s the advantage of a natural green environment of grass and trees with lots of clean air blowing. It reminded my wife and me of what air used to be like when we were kids. It was a relief not to have to be in an AC room and then going outside and feeling sweaty.
Also, If you don’t rent a car, the condos have bicycle rentals and transportation to their beach club where there is a bar and restaurant.
The owners, Viv and Erm, are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They were always available with information on tours or info on good local restaurants. At, $90 dollars a night for a beautiful condo that slept our family of 4 away from the downtown Tulum heat, traffic and noise we were completely happy. We have found our new place to stay for our next visit to Tulum. We highly recommend Condos Kohunlich to stay if you want an excellent fully equipped condo in a great location that sleeps 4 with a pool at a very good price.
