From the first moment checking in to checking out the staff was outstanding.They go the extra step to make sure you have the best and most relaxed stay. Karina and Mahatma made sure that out trips site seeing were fitted to us perfect. The Hotel is very clean and has a breath taking veiw of the ocean and Cozmel. We have so many great memories of our honeymoon. We can not say enough great things about this hotel and staff. We look forward to going back .

We have stayed at two of the Xperience Properties (Aqua Luna in Playa and La Palapa in Holbox) and always found service was top notch in all their properties. Their staff are truly THE BEST and aim to make your stay the most enjoyable it can be. The property is conveniently located near the beach and 5th Avenue. There are three beach club options and, though it is a bit of a walk, we like Mamitas best. (We liked the exercise as it made us feel less guilty when we ate at all the wonderful restaurants in Playa!) Our room #316 was quiet, and well designed with a huge tiled walk-in shower, little balcony and a stone wall that looked original to the property. There is a frig in each room, WI-FI, iron and blow dryer and all the typical amentities. The roof top deck with the little dipping pool was a big plus for us after a day at a busy beach club and a great hide out if the weather looked less than ideal. The continental breakfast is simple but there is a good selection of full breakfast options at reasonable rates. They are currently working to provide fresh baked goods such as croissants on a daily basis and we got to sample a few and all were truly fabulous. The front reception area has cold water, coffee, tea, a library and lots of tourist information. This is a hotel management team who wants you to feel pampered and does everything they can to make you feel special.

Very good hotel, quiet, in the heart of Playa, nice staff

The hotel is somewhat different, more worn down than the pictures suggest. It was also not clear whether the hotel has beach - it has, but some 150 m walk from the entrance. We continously had problems with the air conditioning, and even when it functioned, it was too loud and had to be switched off for the night. We had twice problems with water - out of a sudden there was none (not even in the toilet). After complaining long, we got another room for the last two nights, next to the pool. The breakfast was also quite poor. The only positive thing was actually the kind guys at the reception, but when it came to discussions, they all moved responsibility towards the management. All in all, I wouldnt stay there again.
