I stay at Posada Mariposa on my personal trips as well as booking rooms for our groups that are traveling in the area. The occasional noisy night (hey, it's Fifth Avenue) is well offset by the courteous, genuine service and great location of this top notch hotel.
It's my first choice for a place to stay in Playa Del Carmen!

this was my second stay at Posada Mariposa,
My knew room was over the second floor with a worderful gardin view , the room was exactly what I need off: clean, quiet,confortable bed and great location.

the staff at the front desk is very helpful and the know great places for everything.

I went to the italian restaurant and fell in love of the raviolis.

I stayed for 3 nights and at the very moment me and my girlfriend entered to the lobby we were amazed. We stayed at the villa, at the top of the hotel (4th floor) with and incredible privacy and view. The room perfectly clean and lots of space. It is far from the noise, but in the middle of everything. A great restaurant upfront (free breakfast coupons from the hotel) and a convenience store 15 feet away. Definitely will return.
