I want to recommend this hotel. It is small but they made me fteel at home. I spend one week there and i would like to go there again. If you go there dont doubt, this hotel is a great option for you.

i returned to the hotel one month after my first visit and stayed in the standard plus deluxe room. this particular room was the bedroom portion of a master suite with connecting door. fortunately no one occupied the master suite during my visit so it was a peaceful stay. the room was modern and a bit smaller than the standard plus rooms, but very comfortable for a solo traveler. to access this room which is located in a separate building, you walk up deck planks on the south end of the pool. the room next door is the only other standard plus deluxe room without a connecting door and has a private sunbathing terrace. i did have problems connecting to wifi from this room, but going to the lobby area to log on was never a problem. as always, the staff truly makes you feel at home!! they're all truly great!!

I stayed at the Riviera Caribe Maya for 5 nights in june. I have only positive things to say about it. The staff was really friendly and helpful. My room was super clean. The swimming pool is lovely and, thanks to palm trees, it stays in the shadow, which is great when it gets really hot. The small restaurant downstair makes the best milkshakes ever. The beach really is only 5 minutes away and the hotel gives you discounts for renting chairs and umbrellas . The Quinta Avenida is one block (1 minute) away. That part of the Avenida is called the "nueva quinta". Many nice restaurants and bars are there. If you are looking for a good price-quality ratio, and you do not need all the fuss of a 4 star hotel, this is definitely a good choice.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is very small, but nicely decorated and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful, e.g all the maids said good morning every day. Free internet on a computer in the lobby. Can't fault the place really, the location is good, about 5 mins walk to the beach. Just off the main shopping stretch. Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, queit hotel in a good location.
