This hotel is right down the street from two bus terminals. It was awfully nice to get off my bus and just walk across the street. The next morning at 5:00 am I was able to walk out the door and flag a passing cab to the airport in 30 seconds.
That said, this hotel is overpriced for what you get. I paid P 470. I had a large room upstairs facing the street. It seemed very nice at first but later I realized that the window didn't open and the control knobs had been removed from the AC unit. There was no ceiling fan. It was hot and stuffy all night.
The neighborhood is OK during the day but I wouldn't walk around after dark. It's a long walk to the historical district.
The hotel can be very noisy. It has an open courtyard/stairwell up the center of the building which looks very nice but means that noise really carries. A group of about 30 school children arrived shortly after me. Fortunately I like kids and have a sense of humor because they ran up and down the stairs shouting and slamming doors for hours until they all finally fell asleep exhausted. More intrusive was the TV in the ground floor lobby that was on all night long and that I could hear in my room.
The little restaurant is nice although a bit pricey.
