As a BW Gold card holder, I was surprised how many things were wrong with this Hotel with a BW name. The facility is old and does not show its age well. There was an odor in the elevator that was horrible. The Hotel and surrounding area is very noisy and the windows and doors of the Hotel rooms do not keep much of the noise out. It does advertise on site parking, but make sure the gate is open or you'll be driving in circles. The parking lot is very small, so if you have a larger sized vehicle- crossover or SUV, be careful as they'll make you back in from a busy small street. The gentlemen supervising the lot was not very hospitable and could not be bothered that you were trying to back a vehicle into a postage stamp sized space.
Front desk staff was helpful and professional but had a problem with the language difference, even though they advertise bi-lingual staff; not that evening anyway.
The room had many scuff marks on the walls, floor trim was cracked and missing and the furniture cushions and bedspread needed cleaning. I initially thought one stain was part of the pattern...
The a/c worked but was loud, which was probably good as it masked the noise coming from the street 5 stories below. Bath was fairly clean except for a long dark hair on the floor; no it wasn't mine.
The bed is typical old school Hotel operator, the hardest bed to last the longest.
