El Gran Hotel is a beautifully maintained hotel ..about 100 yrs old. We slept in the same bed Fidel Castro slept in once!! Clean, comfortable.
Not 'posh & fluffy' but a nice experience and decorated with beautiful antiques. The hotel has a plaza infront that always seems to have something going on. There are shops, great restaurants and carriage rides all within walking distance. Staff is helpful and curtious.
