At only 5 minutes walk from the main plaza, this location is excellent, however the rooms don't really live up to standard.
The room we stayed in had no natural light - the only window was into the corridor - so it already felt quite dark and dingy. But then we saw the bathroom - ants crawling over the floor, a louvre style window that was so decrepid looking we didn't even touch it, and a fluorescent bar light above plastic ceiling tiles. It was like a prison bathroom. That said, the shower was actually good and was probably the best thing about our stay! They will not give you a remote control for your air con, so if you need the temperature adjusted, you have to go down to the front desk and ask. For some reason many hotels in Mexico think you will steal their remotes!
The 'pool' is actually tiny (maybe max 5 people could get in), none of us used it as it didn't look particularly clean. The 'pool bar' was non-existent, we stood waiting to get a beer for 10 minutes and no one appeared to serve us.
I have to compliment them on their breakfast though, there was a lot of good quality food and it was probably the best breakfast we'd seen after 2 weeks in Mexico.
