“Great value, cozy accommodations, and family friendly.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2011

My wife, 15 month old, and I stayed at Las Lunas for 3 nights and loved our stay. Oliver and Janie were warm, welcoming and provided us with lots of recommendations for things to see and do. Traveling with a 15 month old can be a challenge, but their B&B was perfect because there was plenty of fun things for our little guy to explore in their gardens (birds, turtles, etc) and their dogs kept him amused. And when he went to bed, we could relax outside the room in their spacious garden.

Las Lunas is outside the tourist area in the local neighborhood which provided us with a really neat experience. It was so nice to walk through these areas and see how the locals live and feel like a part of the community (albeit for a very short time). Lots of great, local restaurants nearby and the main plaza was only 6 blocks or so away. Felt safe and secure.

We rented a car to drive to nearby beaches/pools to hang out during the day (Rentadora Isis..highly recommend). Paradise Beach and Chakanaab both had great pools and beaches to relax and were perfect for our little one. Paradise is especially a good deal and very nice. Also recommend heading to the other side to see the incredible wide open beaches....and have a margarita at Coconuts.

All in all had a wonderful trip and a major reason for that is our stay at Las Lunas.

“Best value B&B on Cozumel with friendly divemasters as hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2011

I have stayed several times at Las Lunas and found hosts Janie and Oliver to be wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Love the scrumptious breakfasts, perfect margaritas, cold cervazas, great snacks and guacamole. I enjoy walks among the surrounding residential areas with market and food nearby and downtown a few blocks away. Nothing like the local roosters announcing wake-up time to get you up and going. Spacious Jaguar Moon is my favorite with its huge bed and large balcony overlooking the neighborhood, but have fully enjoyed the other rooms also. Diving is great with host dive-master along with equipment, air and mixes, rinses, and drying lines on site. Choose privacy or mingle with hosts and other guests around outdoor or indoor dining/sitting areas to share daily island adventures and plans. The four darling wiener dogs are fun too. A hard place to leave for home.

“a perfect vacation, can't beat the hospitality!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 March 2010

I have just returned from one of the best vacations I have ever had. The owners hospitality was outstanding, they made me truly feel at home. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to sleep in - except for the great breakfasts every morning. There is a beautiful garden to relax in at the end of the day, the pictures here don't do it justice. The diving was the most rewarding that I have ever done, there is a technical dive center on the premises. This was my first trip to Cozumel, and definitely not my last. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else next time I visit, just like visiting good friends.

“Comfortable and Convenient Bed and Breakfast especially for Divers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2010

After I stayed for 4 days at Fiesta Americana, I sent the wife back to the states and moved to Las Lunas B&B for a week. Great room and beautiful grounds as well as four welcoming Dachshunds. Can't beat the price which includes breakfast. If you are a diver, especially a tech diver, this is definately a place to consider. I was the only "bubble blower" in the group but that gave me more time for Cervesa while the tech guys were fussing over their gear. Techs Mex Divers are the owners and they have their refilling operation on site. Walking distance to local supermarkets, bars, restaurants and downtown. Carlos and Charlies or Senor Frogs frequenters need not apply.

“Had fun staying at Las Lunas in Cozumel this past Feb.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 February 2010

My wife and I spent 10 days in Cozumel at the Las Lunas Inn. We had a great time and really enjoyed the B&B. Janie and Oliver are great host and were able to tell us about many great places to eat, things to do, etc. Room was nice and clean and the property was well maintained.

We also were their diving with their associated dive shop (Tech Mex Divers). Very well run outfit. Strongly recommend it, especially if you are a more technical diver because they have the equipment to support that.

Overall loved the experience and will stay there again on our next visit.
