Visited for 2 days just before Christmas 2011 specifically for kiteboard lessons and had a great time. Room was nice and clean and perfect for me to crash each night after the long days of kiteboarding. Raul was a great host and teacher and I had a great time learning how to kiteboard. Will definitely visit again for more lessons the next time I'm in Cozumel.

Having spent a year and a half away travelling we have to say that Casa Vienta is top of our list of places to stay! We stayed for 4 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Nic and Raul made us feel more than welcome and it really was a home away from home with the great addition of Diva the dog. Our room and the all of the grounds were extremely well maintained and very clean. We really appreciated the friendly service and wealth of knowledge Nic and Raul provided us with. Although we didn't hire a car initially we rented one for a day to drive around the island and visit some different snorkel spots which we highly recommend doing too.

We stayed with Nicole and Raul for four nights in november and thoroughly enjoyed our time in their hotel. Our room, the grounds and the pool were maintained to the highest standards. Although breakfast is not offered there is always coffee and pastries available poolside in the mornings. Whenever we came down for coffee either Nicole or Raul or both would make a point of joining us to make us feel at home and bring us up to speed on island places to see, eat and enjoy. This genuine interest in our wellbeing goes a long way in our estimation of how we rate our stays. Stay here if you value a warm welcome and peaceful surroundings.
As others have said the beach is a few minutes walk away and there is good snorkelling if one is prepared to walk a few minutes more to the south. A car is probably needed for a stay at Casa Viento. It is a seven or eight minutes drive out of town. If one plans on travelling around Cozumel a car is essential given the rates the taxi drivers expect.

WOW!! We had a family reunion down in Cozumel and chose Casa Viento because of all the fantastic things we have heard about it. We feel so lucky that Nic & Raul where able to accommodate All of us & our many needs! The rooms where beautifully decorated and SO clean. Being able to have a kitchen, dinning table and family room to relax in right off of our rooms was fantastic! Really made my 3 year old feel like we where at home! With the gorgeous pool and peaceful courtyard just outside our room you couldn't ask for anything more. Walking to the beautiful beach to play & swim was so easy! Nic & Raul really do know all the right spots for a wonderful meal as well! My family is already planning when to return to Casa Viento!
