Villa Maya was perfect for our group of 12 friends and family on a one week vacation. It's right on the water with a beautiful view, and the rooms are clean and comfortable...some bedrooms are large and some small, but that worked out well for us as we had some singles and some couples. There is a screened-in front porch and an indoor sitting room/bar area too. Luis and his wife Isabel took great care of us and the grounds. We had opted for the two meals a day package and it was well worth the price. We were served delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine for breakfast and dinner every day. Let Luis pick the menu for you...you won't be dissappointed, he is a great cook! Luis also knows how to get "Happy Hour" started with an "Especial" drink and some chips & pico de gallo. There is a large hotel next door, and when several of us went there for massages and manicures, we were welcomed and given a discount on these services. The snorkelers in the group went out several time right in front of the Villa, and loved it. We all decided we will come back to Villa Maya again if we have the chance!
