We have just returned from a super vacation at Charritas. Sandy Gutierrez will do just about anything to make your vacation a plus. She will make sure that you stay safe and eat safe in known restaurants - at great prices too. She will tell you that renting a moped is an idea she just can't live with - and when you see the traffic in the city proper, you will understand as I did that this is an unusual risk. She will level about the great spots to visit and did organize a snorkel-trip that makes most other look like a joke. One night she cooked a fantastic meal for all guests - something special and never to forget. This is not a beach locale, but is right in the middle of San Miguel on a boulevard. Nevertheless, this allows for a unique Mexican perspective and and experience all its own. A cab-ride to town is a question of two dollars and San Francisco Beach - a matter of more. Renting a car to see the island's quieter side is a good option and Sandy will help you, as she did for us! Rating Sandy Gutierrez would make it excellent, it's the location that knocks it a touch. All told, this woman will go to great sweat to make sure that you leave with personal satisfaction - something generally speaking not always true in a generic resort.

I have been to Charrita's twice and on both occasions Sandy made the trip unbelievably memorable. When we arrived the second time it had been nearly twenty-four hours since our last meal, so Sandy whipped together a lovely lobster bisque and shrimp pasta dish in next to no time. The rooms are cool and comfortable, with lovely decor. The service is above and beyond what I even hoped for. Sandy referred us to some fantastic snorkeling spots, supplying us with equipment, and took us for a journey around the island in a rented jeep. We stayed a week, and all I've been able to think about since my return to California is when I can get back. Anyone wanting to see the less commercial side of Cozumel should definitely give Charritas a try.

Sandy will make the trip worth it. Her breakfast are the best and it was a warm and friendly place away from home. She will totally take care of all your needs and then some. She made our trip a great time.
