We stayed in Puesta del Sol Unit 2 S (Phase II) and absolutely loved it! It was very easy to work with the owner - he got right back to us and answered our questions. The condo has 4 bedrooms - tastefully decorated and easy to live in. We were able to cook a few meals and save money as the food on the island is somewhat pricey when trying to feed a family of 5. The balcony was large and fun to watch the sunset nightly. The saltwater pool was great - warm and fun for the kids...snorkeling right off the steps at the condo was stellar! We rented a car and were able to go to many attractions up and down the coast. Most locals were friendly and spoke some English and appreciated our attempts to speak Spanish! We couldn't have enjoyed our trip more.. With this wonderful condo, our trip was complete and completely relaxing!

We stayed in 2South-a completely renovated 4 bedroom three bath condo. It was absolutly beautiful and very clean. The pool is nice (infiniti) There is a cleaning lady every day, so sweet-she is there five hours at least!

I went with 6 friends and we had a ball! Things to know:

It is approx. 2 miles to town cabs are around $5.00 US The island is isolated, I think we saw a total of 100 people on the entire island except cruise ship vacationers. The food and drinks are a little pricy, buy your own Rent a car and see the deserted beaches, it was so pretty! BUT it seemed like we were the only tourists...IT WAS EMPTY There is no electricity on this side of the island so go early
Since the hurricane, there are not so many tourists, very sad.
NO good night life Nice people Pizza Hut was all we had some nights!
I would not go here if you are single and looking for a good time.

This condo was great, my only disappointment was how dead the island was. I feel very sad for the economy there and hope it gets better!!

Stayed here in 2002 for a week in May. Absolutely beautiful property, right on the ocean. Did quite a bit of snorkeling on-site with large varitety of fish. Within a longish walk to town, which we did on several occasions, but it's easy to get a taxi as well.

Condo was extremely clean and well-kept, everything you could need.
Used the local cook (Breakfast and Dinner) for 2 days and highly recommend it. Rented a brand new VW Beetle (in Mexico this is the old air-cooled variety) which was a great way to see the island. Did the Tarzan Tour, highly recommended.

Would not consider staying anywhere else on Cozumel.
