“Awesome Anniversary”

The Cozumel Palace provided us with the most Amazing 25th Anniversary get away.
From the moment we entered the front door being greeted with drinks to our exit a week later as I painfully let them remove my resort band as we left we were treated like royalty. Our suite was absoutly georgeous. The Hosekeeping and concierge staff was ahead of ever need before you even had to mention.
The food was fantastic from the resturants to room service.
The nightly activities at the resort were creative and a lot of fun.
Shopping ,excursion pick up points and ferry to mainland with in walking distance.
I felt safe and pampered.
The Cozumel Palace is the definition of Excellence.

“Can't Wait to go Back!”

We loved everything about the Cozumel Palace! It is conveniently located in Cozumel, with a 15 minute walk distance to the shops in town, and in the other direction to the cruise terminal. It was a 10 minute cab ride from the airport. We were greeted with cool, scented towels on arrival, along with a rose and a cocktail.

We loved our room overlooking the pool and the Caribbean, and the hammock on the deck was a nice place to relax. The restaurants were good and the food well prepared and fresh. But the best thing was the staff. Everyone was so attentive and intent on serving their guests well.

We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: A room with a shaded balcony is a nice place to relax in the afternoon. Ask for one away from the e...

“Amazing resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stayed here with my husband for one week. Booked the whole trip with Nolitours. This was hands down the best all inclusive place we've stayed at thus far. The hotel and service and perks were amazing. Our package included the $1500 US dollar credits, and these credits went a long way. We had initially booked a standard view room because it was a lot cheaper, then when we arrived at the hotel they asked us if we wanted to upgrade the room to ocean view junior suite with our credits. We said yes, and it was definitely worth it...beautiful room and view of the ocean plus a hammock on the balcony! With the remainder of our credits we were also able to book two massages, excursion to Chaankanab Eco Park and the Dolphinarus tour (an amazing experience). The food at this place is also great, again better than any other all inclusive place I've been to. We had fresh made crepes just a about every morning as part of our breakfast, so yummy! My husband had loads of pico de gallo and chips during our stay, while I loaded up on the fresh guacamole everyday.

One thing we noticed was the lack of people. We asked our waiter one night at dinner, "where it everybody?" He told us that the hotel was only at 35-40% occupancy. We found this a little odd given the time of year...all the other resorts we've stayed at in Mexico and the Caribbean have been pretty packed. I guess its because of the bad press Mexico has been getting lately, and its now effecting their tourism industry. Its unfortunate because Cozumel Island is very safe. It has its own airport so you don't have to go to main land Mexico if you don't want to. We felt very safe renting a car for the day and driving around the island, stopping to visit Punta Sur and some Mayan ruins sites.

To sum up, we had a great vacation at Cozumel Palace. This is a place I'd feel comfortable recommending to my family and friends. The people working there are fantastic. We'd definitely consider coming back sometime in the future.

Room Tip: Try using your credits to upgrade the room to ocean view, its worth it.

“Welcome home to Cozumel Palace, the Happiest Place on Earth!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

This visit to Cozumel Palace was like returning to our Happiest Place on Earth. My wife and I had first been to Cozumel Palace in 2007 (http://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g150809-d153002-r13822546-Cozumel_Palace-Cozumel_Yucatan_Peninsula.html) with our best friends. It was the best vacation we had ever had at the time.

We were very excited to return in February 2012. Our arrival to the resort was handled quickly and efficiently by our transfer service. We were greeted at the front desk by welcoming smiles and words as well as refreshing scented facecloths and beverages. Our check-in and upgrades to concierge level were smooth and easy.

Meals were a highlight of our vacation. We experienced great service from Francisco, Gabriel, and Teodoro at breakfast. Chef Massimo, an elite athlete as well as a world class chef, graciously prepared my wife’s favorite breakfast, Chilaquiles de pollo. Pool drink service was prompt and frequent thanks to Roger, Fernando, Heri, or Emmanuel. Dinner was always fantastic when Evert took care of us in the Italian restaurant and we were impressed by Ronny and Ricardo’s service at La Buganbilias.

We spent a week dining on some of the best foods including tender steaks, lamb, succulent grouper fish, and delectable sushi. The wines we enjoyed were nicely balanced with the different food types and we always enjoyed the champagne.

The entertainment staff did a great job keeping us busy during the day around the pool. Aqua-aerobics, volleyball, and evening performances were fun and well done. The staff taking care of the Super Bowl party did a great job too!!! Thanks Brenda! I was impressed with Chef Herminio’s Vince Lombardi Trophy made from chocolate.

During our stay, we took advantage of the Palace Resort Credits for Spa treatments, the “Cozumel Everybody Loves Rays” tour, SCUBA diving with Aqua Safari Cozumel, and the day excursion to Chankanaab. I also did additional SCUBA dives with my divemaster Manuel in the park and was thoroughly impressed with the diving there. That being said, the snorkeling at the Cozumel Palace is very good. I saw anemones, rock lobsters, moray eels, some lion fish (these are an invasive species, impressive to see nonetheless), trumpetfish and barracudas among many others.

My wife and I went into St. Miguel to browse the shops and the town. It’s a pretty place and there are many shops. Many cater to the cruise ships selling t-shirts, jewellery, or general souvenirs. We felt very safe in town during our outing. Shops keepers were friendly and willing to help if needed.

We will be returning in November to watch the Cozumel IronMan competition and look forward to seeing our friendly food service manager Manuel as well as our sweet hostess Marina. We made a “Pinkie Promise” we’d come back so we have to keep our word.

Room Tip: Use your Resort Credits and upgrade to concierge level.

“Perfect honeymoon!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

The Cozumel Palace is ideal for romantic holidays - they have their own private beach area, 2 big pools and their own snorkeling area at the back which is awesome, beautiful water. Food is bloody awesome in all 4 restaurants, and the staff's attention to detail is phenomenal (they noticed we were drinking all the cans of XX from the mini fridge so they put more in, the waiters at the pool bar remembered what we liked too) - they are all so nice and helpful. The best thing was the fact the all-in actually meant all-in, absolutely all food and drink (except Moet!), including top-shelf liquors, the lot. We didn't know about the free Palace points, which we could use to go on excursions, so we saved so much money. The area is gorgeous, specially the marine wildlife - and very safe. Best. Holiday. Ever!!!!!

Room Tip: upgrade to the sea view rooms, you can do it using your Palace points, the view is great!
