Stayed here for 2 weeks and there is no A/C. I was sleeping in sweat and it is not worth the $5 dollars. You should just pay $10 more to Hotel Sotavento. I was too hot to move though. There is no roof when walking down stairs. The dining area is terrible and filthy, but I see a lot of nice looking people there!!! Someone took all my shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Everything is old and there are bugs in the room. There is no mesh to the window. Very disgusting and traumatizing.

Stayed here for 2 nights, with my girlfriend in a huge private room. Had king size bed, fridge, freezer, tv, toilet and a shower. It was very basic, shower and toilet seperated by a tarpaulin! It was quite old and hasn't been refurbished for years. The room was clean, the hostel itself was cleaned on a daily basis. It had a small kitchen which was reasonably stocked with equipment but don't expect too much. The owner was spot on, very friendly and helpful. We had a good time in this hostel, had internet wifi free, it's very cheap, and definitely good value for money.

The location is quite creepy...The room was completely dirty (if you go, don't look under the bed...it's better)! The sheets were YELLOW (never been changed I think!), the curtain of the window was falling. The common bathroom was smelly (no hot water) with a cockroach apperaring during the night! The kitchen...well I don't wanna describe it...The owner seemed nice but he "stoled" us around 2 € making the change from € to mex$, instead of US$ to mex$...don't go there, at all...
