“Fantastic for what you pay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

We spent only two night at Salvia but for what we were looking for it has been fantastic and worth it!!! It's not the best place for sure and the forniture can be old and poor but for what you pay and for the view you can have to the ocean it's really worth it. People at the reception have been always kind and helpful for everything

“Do something about the noise or you risk failure”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

This place was exactly what I expected in terms of room standard for the price we paid. The people at the reception were very helpful and the building is in good condition.
However.... I read the reviews about the noise from the clubs very carefully and they generally said that you cannot hear the noise at night when you are sleeping. This is true when they keep the noise inside their clubs. The thing is that now the club owners look like they are abusing the seemingly non-existent noise pollution laws in Mexico and they are now taking their noise to the beach. They play loud music on the beach during the day, which would be an outrage in other countries, and they twice organised beach parties during the night which kept us awake through the night.
I would have given a 5 point rating to this place on the standard of the accommodation alone, but I am giving it a much lower rating in the hope that the owners of this condo will get together and complain to the local authority about the abuses by the club owners.
Condo owners take note: my wife pointed out that the condo next door is starting to look like a neglected and abandoned building like the concrete shells that have been left around Cancun and your condo building could go the same way.

“Great place for family vacations!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

We stayed at this hotel for our summer holidays and we were really satisfied with the hotel facilities, the view and the service, not to mention the location which was very convinient.
We booked 4 rooms, two of them withlagoon view and the other two with ocean view and kitchen facilities. As we were a big group (15 pax), the rooms with kitchen were suitable enough to serve breakfast and some dinners, as it was easier to buy some groceries at the local super market (Chedrahui) and to cook simple things at the hotel. I was surprised with the quality and variety of kitchen equipment available (blender, electric heaer, bread toaster, frigde, coffee maker, complete set of dishes, glassware, kitchen gadgets, saucepans and pots and many other things).
The view both to the ocean and to the lagoon was lovely and inspiring; the hotel has also access to the beach and beach towels can be provided at the front desk. The pool is also very good and is open from 9 am untill 8 pm.
Another feature I truly appreciated was the location: Plaza Forum, Coco Bongo, Hard Rock and Dady'O night club are a couple of steps from the hotel!
The price is reasonable and is very reccomendable to book early to get a good price.

“So worth it!!!”

My expectations were exceeded with this condo. The staff was helpful, the maid was fantastic (she even cleaned our dishes!), the location was the BEST, and the room was gorgeous. It looks even better in person than in the pictures!!And Paula (condo owner) was really great to coordinate with. We hope to come back again soon!

“Awesome Cancun stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 April 2011

We came down to Cancun for the holidays, a romantic escape from the cold weather in Phoenix, Arizona. It was a great spot to relax and reach other locations further south like Playa del Carmen and Tulum for some scuba diving and cenotes. A family friend hooked us up with Louise (cancunlu@gmail.com) for the condo and it was really great deal. Nice clean facilities, great view of the ocean, and the beach was great for napping out on in the afternoons. Great Christmas vacation!
