We came here to snorkel and enjoy the facilities. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't review on that. This beach club isn't grand or big but very quaint and small, but if you are on a budget and don't want to break the bank account but want to enjoy some time relaxing in the sun and snorkel for a couple of hours this is the place.
My husband and I rented snorkel gears and fin for 140 pesos total, which is a little less than 14.00 US and the entrance was 50 pesos each. Can't beat the price. We even rented the lockers with a little hesitation because of some reviews regarding it but we didn't have any problems with anything being stolen.
The are lounge chairs, restrooms, changing room, snack bar, etc. Everything you need is here, but nothing fancy. Waters are calm and just perfect to enjoy the waters. It is nothing like reef snorkeling but you see plenty of fish and they swim literally right around you and it is pretty cool. My husband isn't a good swimmer so this was a perfect spot for him to start off with.
Come with an open mind and enjoy part of your day here! This was the highlight of our trip and I can't wait to come back next time with my son!
