First of all, it took over an hour to check in as our original rooms were flooded. When we finally got our rooms, we found that it floods easily when it rains, as most if not all the rooms did. The place is beautiful overall, but not safe when its raining as most of the floors are smooth granite. They did their best to get the water off the floor, but it really didn't help overall. My husband sprained his ankle after stepping into a drain that the grate cover was taken off but no signs were out to indicate that. The first aide help was basically nonexistent, as they did not have bags for ice, nor crutches on hand, and it took many repeated statements to get an ace wrap for his ankle, which is not good quality. There were handful of others we saw with bandages as well. The resort is not handicapped accessible in some areas, which made it tough for my husband to get around. The speediness of the service, especially for getting drinks, is very slow and they could really use more staff in most areas. If u get into one of the basic rooms, u'll only have access to less than half of the places to eat, based on the color wristband u get. If u get the black wristband, which allow access everywhere which our purple bands did not, there are so many more food options. They do not advertise the difference between the bands well at all. There are not enough lounge chair or beds on the beach or poolside for the people to relax on. There is a big gap between supper time and when the night time activites start, which made it tough to stay up and wait when ur not used to staying up late. They also did not advertise the activites well at all, so we didn't know what was going on half the time. I loved the sights and am glad for the experience, but I would not go back to that resort, nor do I suggest families with kids or those whith handicaps to go either.
