This place was very dark, dingy, unclean and the staff were very unfriendly.
This rooms were damp and dirty but i suppose it is meico!

End of the day if you can give this place a miss then i highly recommend it!

my brother david, sent me to his favorite spot in cancun for my 60th birthday. i had a suite and 20 of my fam. and friends joined me!! everything was great!! basically we had the place to ourselves. with 3 kids in tow, the pool was ours. outdoor tables from hotel resturant was where the guys enjoyed themselves as some of us enjoyed the pool. steps away from EVERYTHING, the perfect spot. my brother david has known the carrillos family for over 12 years. we were more than pleased, due to the great srevice from their front desk manager RENEE ( speaks excellent english). tip him well, it like being at home and a very wonderful mexican experience. char from chicago.

Free internet (.4 mbps) , Lack luster breakfast. Its a bus ride away from nice beaches and centrally located in old Cancun.
Nothing special hotel, but clean and cheap. Not far (5 min walk) to ADO bus service if going south

I have stayed at Carillo's two times and plan to stay again soon.

The rooms are rustically romantic, the hotel is spotless and the service is wonderful. You should speak a little Spanish, as most of the staff do not.

I love this place. It is very convenient to downtown, which, for me is the best part of Cancun. I think the Hotel Zone is boring and too commercialized. Downtown is real Mexico!!
