Traveled with husband and 10 month old baby. When we first got to the hotel we were not too impressed. Our room was not ready and we had to stay in a different room the first night. The first room was roomy enough and had a microwave, kitchenette sink, and double beds. The second room had a king size bed, no microwave or sink. Both rooms were roomy. The rooms were clean, but the first room had teeny tiny insects around the sink. Not a lot of them but enough that I noticed them. The hotel supplied us with a crib for the baby.
The inside of the hotel is okay, a little date, but the grounds were impressive. We thought the outside of he hotel was much nicer tan the inside. We have been to Cancun before and stayed at a much nicer hotel but the grounds were not as nice. We got the all inclusive option which turned out to be a great deal. The service peope were wonderful, service was prompt and attentive. Our bellies were always full of food or drink. We were pleasantly surprised by the sushi bar, Pina Colada restaurant, DaVinci's, and the themed nigh menus (except carribean night, we id not enjoy the food). Make sure to make reservations at DaVinci's asap, they get full fast, If you have a Baby they will only seat you at six. Service there was wonderful, we had a screaming baby and they were still super nice. Overall itwas a great experience. I would recommend this hotel for families and older people. Not so much for young couples or those who want to party. We found the best deal for this hotel at costco travel, which included airport transfers. The hotel also has a car rental service which we used. A jetta came out to about $60 for a day, including taxes and insurance. Btw keep away from the timeshare people, you can't miss them, we said no once and they didn't bother us after that.
