“Not Bad, Get all-inclusive.”

View and beach are great. Pool was cold. Didn't have a hot-tub. Other than that, good times.

If you like to drink like a fish on vacation, get all-inclusive. I ended up dropping $500 at the bar and room service. I also spent a ton on the nearby restaurants. 2 burgers, a margarita and a cocktail at Chili's was $50. Average cost of a beer is $4-5. Cocktails $6-10.

You can save a few bucks and not have to leave the resort if you get the all-inclusive. I forgot to check box when booking it online. Tricky devils! I was told at the resort it would be a $100 a day for each person. I rolled the dice and lost. LOL!

Meet alot of cool people and it was great to party and relax without the kids for a week. One downer...could of went without that loud group of rude annoying rednecks from Minnesota.

The bashers on this board are crazy. If you can't have a good time at this place, your probably just a high maintenance prude to begin with. There are better places in Cancun. This location and price is hard to beat.

“Could Have Been Better”

We arrived at 2:45 PM on the 3rd of February when a convention was checking out. They didn't get us a room till about 4 pm. The room they gave us (1132) was noisy (adjacent to the hotels main AC) and dirty (toilet was not cleaned) and missing the bottled water that was suppose to be in the room. I had to ask three times to finally get the water. We got our room changed to 1704 the next day - much better.
Pros: Very reasonable price for an all inclusive if you get it with 90 minute sales promo.
Very good sushi bar (the chef is not always there at the posted times - waited 25 mins)
Very good breakfast and service.
Cons:You can hear the TV in the adjoining room and their conversations thru doors.
Beds and pillows are not too great.
Asked for room service to have coffee delivered at 6 am. They said their was no room service at 6 am. We had to wait till they started serving breakfast at 6:30 am.
My package was suppose to include dining at other restaurants. When I asked the first clerk, he said I could go to the Hacienda or Hard Rock Cafe. We went to the Hacienda. Beautiful place with a good Mariachi band but food was awful. We went the next day and asked for Hard Rock Cafe and were told that the Hacienda was the only restaurant (different clerk). We met another couple that said they ate at three different restaurants as part of the Dine Around program. I guess it depends on which clerk you ask.
They closed down the main restaurant for refurbishment.

All in all it was not bad for the price I paid.

Room Tip: Try to get a higher level room facing the beach.

I will more than happy assisting you personally with the topics you mentioned in your review.

Regarding the all inclusive i checked your reservation and it's in a promo with the vacation club. The all inclusive in those reservations is limited, they do not have the dine out program included. It's not because you were attented by a different front desk agent.

We really want to know what plates were awful for you in Mortero. We have had excellent reviews from that restaurant and we want to solve it out immediately.

Like a motel 8 minus a coffee maker and bathroom fan. People who work here are BLAH not excited to even be here them selves. Music will put you to sleep ,pool isnt lit up at night,outside bathroom has no sign and has 10 stairs to get to it . Not good for the handicap or kids. the one bar open at night has 2 stairs. Free wi fi and best beach on the strip is all this place has. Never will I come here agian. Going to tell everyone I know not to come. Hope word gets out. Just felt unwanted and uninvited. words cant explain how disappointing my week was

Just got back from a week long vacation at Krystal Resort. The location is great. Only a few minute walk to the night life and flea markets. Coco Bongo is amazing (only a 3 minute walk). The beach is great and right out the door. There are 3 bars, including a swim up one, but they are understaffed and selection is quite limited. Also they open kinda late, at least for me. The food choices for the all-inclusive are ok but not great. Staff is very polite and housekeeping was good. Biggest down side of the vacation was the room. We booked a ocean view room in the club tower but were not put in this room. We were ocean front with a somewhat obstructed view. We asked to move several times but were told the hotel was full each time, which I doubt. The one thing about many of the other reviews where people say they were pushed by the time share people was definately not the case with us. We were not approached by anyone in the 8 days we were there. There was some remodeling going on in the main lobby and bar area, also the main restaurant which was making it look much better, but still a ways to go.

Room Tip: Choose an ocean view room in the new tower 4th floor or higher. Great view!!

I have been to Mexico 5 times before and have always had an amazing time, we love the people and the service is always great we have stayed at the gran caribe real, blue bay Esmeralda, iberostar resorts. We are middle class people who look forward to our yearly family vacation , this trip was truly a nightmare, booked this resort takin the complaints from tripadvisor with a grain of salt. Upon arrival was never greeted had to ask to have our bags pulled in, no welcome drink not even a smile, hotel needs some major updating rooms had no safe , view of a parking lot, all inclusive plan u can't use your mini frid they will charge u! I had to beg 2 days for a crib for my baby finally after my husband confronted them about lying we got a crib. ONE restaurant on the resort, serving only a buffet which has about 5 differnt options is the same for lunch an dinner! After our first day we cancelled the all inclusive plan. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, very condescending, an un interested in anything you have to say. After our first night we wanted to leave but could not get our money back, have never wished a vaca away! We told a manager at this resort how we felt an they stared at us as if we were a joke to them. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I would like to extend my sincere apologies for the lapse of service you experienced during your visit. I read different issues you mentioned and i will glady follow up on these ones

We had a welcome drink in the hotel (coconut milk). I will check this proceddure of the check in with the bell boys they have to help guests out with their luggage and give them a complementary drink on their arrival.

We have 3 restaurants in the hotel, plus 1 snack bar, 1 sushi bar and Room Service. And we have a dine out program to señor frogs, carlos and charlies, margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe (included diner). As an all inclusive guest you can order a la carte on any restaurant or serve yourself from the food display (buffet). We change the buffet from lunch and diner is different and we change as well the theme of the food everyday.

Like any other hotel we have rooms with garden or street views and ocean view. the assigment of those rooms depend on your reservation. And you can pay the ocean view upgrade. the room have the same layout but the diffence is the view.

The minibar is not included even for the all inclusive guests. Just the bottles of water in your room.

I would like to help you out promptly with the points of the manager, the rooms ( want to know what rooms you were).

As well, we want to know why you wanted to leave the property the same day you checked in.

Our goal is to provide you with exceptional service and to ensure that each and every one of your stays with us is a most pleasant and memorable one. I regret we were not able to uphold that goal on this occasion.
