I have been to Mexico 5 times before and have always had an amazing time, we love the people and the service is always great we have stayed at the gran caribe real, blue bay Esmeralda, iberostar resorts. We are middle class people who look forward to our yearly family vacation , this trip was truly a nightmare, booked this resort takin the complaints from tripadvisor with a grain of salt. Upon arrival was never greeted had to ask to have our bags pulled in, no welcome drink not even a smile, hotel needs some major updating rooms had no safe , view of a parking lot, all inclusive plan u can't use your mini frid they will charge u! I had to beg 2 days for a crib for my baby finally after my husband confronted them about lying we got a crib. ONE restaurant on the resort, serving only a buffet which has about 5 differnt options is the same for lunch an dinner! After our first day we cancelled the all inclusive plan. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, very condescending, an un interested in anything you have to say. After our first night we wanted to leave but could not get our money back, have never wished a vaca away! We told a manager at this resort how we felt an they stared at us as if we were a joke to them. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I would like to extend my sincere apologies for the lapse of service you experienced during your visit. I read different issues you mentioned and i will glady follow up on these ones
We had a welcome drink in the hotel (coconut milk). I will check this proceddure of the check in with the bell boys they have to help guests out with their luggage and give them a complementary drink on their arrival.
We have 3 restaurants in the hotel, plus 1 snack bar, 1 sushi bar and Room Service. And we have a dine out program to señor frogs, carlos and charlies, margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe (included diner). As an all inclusive guest you can order a la carte on any restaurant or serve yourself from the food display (buffet). We change the buffet from lunch and diner is different and we change as well the theme of the food everyday.
Like any other hotel we have rooms with garden or street views and ocean view. the assigment of those rooms depend on your reservation. And you can pay the ocean view upgrade. the room have the same layout but the diffence is the view.
The minibar is not included even for the all inclusive guests. Just the bottles of water in your room.
I would like to help you out promptly with the points of the manager, the rooms ( want to know what rooms you were).
As well, we want to know why you wanted to leave the property the same day you checked in.
Our goal is to provide you with exceptional service and to ensure that each and every one of your stays with us is a most pleasant and memorable one. I regret we were not able to uphold that goal on this occasion.
