We have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. Le Blanc is probably the best place we have ever been to. Because of that, I am giving it a 5. This is not to say that it was absolutely flawless. Let me start with the pros.
What truly sets Le Blanc apart is the service, whether it be poolside, at the restaurants or pretty much everywhere you go, you will find devoted and attentive employees. Room service was quick with plenty to choose from. The spa was amazing. My husband and I each had a massage and I went twice for a manicure/pedicure. The food was the best we had at an A-I. The buffet (where we had breakfast and lunch most days) had an excellent selection. We also appreciated that you could just order from the pool/beach menu without ever having to leave your chair. The Wi-fi connection is very good and worked just fine from our room. They also provide free long distance calls to Canada and the US. The gym was well equipped (bikes, treadmills and elliptical machines) but could get crowded depending on time of day. I never did partake in any of the classes but I know they offer spinning, yoga and pilates. As for activities, it is a quiet resort but that is what we were looking for. If you want more action, there are clubs and bars pretty much all around the resort. I enjoyed the Spanish lessons (thanks to Tatiana from the entertainment team) and my husband loved the martini tasting (ask for the espresso martini, simply divine!). We also played Black Jack on casino night, which was fun.
Now with the cons. We were greeted with a coconut drink and a fresh towel upon arrival, which was a nice touch, but the check in process was not seamless. Due to our early arrival (around noon), we were told that our room was not ready and given a pager that never did beep. Around 3 o’clock, we returned to the front desk where someone told us that our room was ready (coincidence ???). We were instructed to go to the 8th floor where the butler showed us our room. Nobody sat down with us to explain the resort credits (a necessary step because they have to set up your account if you want to book an appointment, which we found out the next day...). It seems we just skipped part of the check-in process, including the timeshare offer, which I am certainly not going to complain about!
I mentioned that the place is quiet and that this is the reason why we chose Le Blanc. I have to admit, however, that this was not always the case. On one specific night, they had 2 events about 200 feet apart (a wedding reception by the Jacuzzi area and a corporate event on the beach). I was celebrating my birthday that night and came back to my room to find a nice bubble bath with rose petals, a bottle of Moet & Chandon and a chocolate cake. Unfortunately, because of the noise coming from above, we could not enjoy the view from our oceanfront room or the sound of the waves and had to keep our door closed. This was somewhat disappointing.
All in all, we really liked our stay at Le Blanc and we would definitely go back.

I am glad to know that services, selection of food, various benefits and activities we have to offer, all were to your liking. Allow me to extend my sincere apologies for lack of information provided upon check in, I am glad that you could make necessary arrangements and enjoy your resort credit benefits the following day. I do regret that some events, which were taking place at the resort, made an undesirable effect on the ambience of your birthday celebration, I hope the room decorations and special amenities allowed to make this day special and memorable and we are looking forward to welcome you back and ensure that your future stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
