First impressions on arrival....From the time we stepped out of our transfer at the Le Blanc until the time we left to go home, the whole experience was Premier Class.
We were greeted on arrival with cold towels and coconut milk. The check in procedure was seamless. We were given the type of room and view that we requested. As it was a celebration trip, we were greeted in our room by Champagne on ice and a cake. The room was clean, well equipped and very comfortable.
The room.........The free wi-fi worked very well the whole time we were there. We did not see much of our Butler, but we did not need him so it did not matter to us. We requested room aromatherapy and aromatherapy pillows, these were delivered by the time we returned to our room. Plenty of hanging space, and room toiletries were good. We were on the 3rd floor room 318. Fantastic view of the ocean and the lagoon.
The restaurants........We had no complaints about any of the food or the service. All the restaurants were fantastic. We did have our favourites, but then that is personal choice. We could not get into the French restaurant on one occassion, but there is always a great 2nd choice. We did enjoy the a la carte menu in the International Restaurant in the evening.
The pools...............We divided our time between both main pools, and enjoyed them both. We had great fun playing water volleyball with Tatiana in the Luna Pool in the afternoons, she is such fun, and her enthusiasm for us all to have a great time is infectious. We are in our fifties and it did not matter what age you were, both young and old having a great time together. I also enjoyed my aqua aerobics with Carla and Tatiana.
The staff..........special mention to Laura who worked around the pool, beach and towels, she did not stop working, and always with a smile.
Marine at the Luna pool was always on hand to bring our drinks and food. Such a lovely, genuine, hardworking person.
Carlos in the International restaurant, so enthusiastic, great to talk to, and very attentive.
Isabel the omelette chef in the international restaurant for breakfast worked so hard and was definitely the star of the show.
