we stayed here from 23rd jan until feb 6th and to be totally honest we can,t understand some of the complaints in the latest reviews,some people must live in and holiday in palaces ,they are really picky!..rooms are a very high standard,modern and kept very clean by hard working staff.beach is fine, there are jetty's all along the coast so try to avoid one if you can,kept clean and plenty of sunbeds.food!!,how can you possibly complain, my wife is a very high standard chef and also trains chefs and she found no problems at all finding a good well presented meal every night for 2 weeks. drinks were fine and plentiful, if you felt that your drink was weak just ask bar man for more in your drink ,we did this and after a few times barman said ,stronger and got the message.all bar staff work there butts off so tip them well!.a la carte restaurants were excellent and from the amount of people using them fine by all.as to lewed adult behaviour, get real!,we holiday in europe over the summer and this place is a kindergarden compared to european resorts ,adults are there to enjoy themselves and if it's not your scene walk away like my wife and i did.our kids are as old as most of the clientele here yet we felt comfortable and had an amazing time,many thanks to the management and staff for making our stay memorable, will be back next year

Go to Temptation with an open mind. It is not just for "swingers".
We were there for a bachelor party (Feb 2012), we could not have picked a better place to hold it. Don't be afraid to meet people, socialize, participate in the daily activities....it will only add to a positive experience.

Party pool, we got rain on day 2, normally everyone would have run for their rooms. At temptation, the party only got started.

I stayed here with my boyfriend Sept/Oct 2010... We had a great time and I cant fault the hotel. All of the staff were great and couldnt do enough for you, the room was massive and cleaned everyday with fresh towels and clean sheets. The food was lovely but by the second week I was sick of the same thing. There is a big variety of food but I found eating at the same hotel every night started to get a bit tedius. The entertainment wasnt all that but we did go a relatively quiet time. I had a great holiday but I wouldnt go back.

I had stayed at Temptations the week of 1/15/2012. This resort is old, smells strongly of mold in the rooms and even in the lobby. It's like a dormitory rather than a hotel. After driving by all of the big, beautiful resorts along the way, it's disappointing to pull into this small, run-down 3 story resort. The "beach" is pathetic. All it is is an ankle deep cove on the Gulf between two boat marinas. The location is horrible, it's far away from the Cancun strip and there is no sunrise. The food wasn't bad but they have very few Mexican offerings. When I'm in Mexico, I want to eat Mexican food - not Italian or Asian! The mixed drinks were so watered down that I felt absolutely nothing when drinking them. They only way to be sure to get some alcohol is to drinks shots and/or beer.

However, it was a fun place. Topless is the norm so guys who are into that would be in their glory! Lots of cool, beautiful, fun people. Everyone was nice and seemed normal. I guess I was expecting all perverts! About 75% Canadian. The entertainment and shows were hot. Everyone was there to party so there's no need to go off the resort to have fun. It's a party and dancing all night long. Actually, all day long too! The DJ music was fun the first night but you realized that it was the same "recording" night after night, so it got old.

it was fun for a one-time experience but due to the poor location, smelly facility and lack of a beach, I wouldn't go back.
