“This is the place to be !”

Cancun Palace is the Place to be !

We had the luxury of getting a day pass here .. What a treat we had buffet breakfast, lunch by the pool then we visited the beach, wait staff is great they are pleasant and take pride in their work.

Had dinner at Zen Japanese restaurant. Dinner was awesome, not to mention having your food cooked right in front t of you. Everything was 5 star we were even given a room for an hour.

Hotel is full of lots of activities, we hung out by the bar facing the pool where you were entertained with music an then again everything was all inclusive and when I say everything I mean everything.

Top shelves drinks, friendly staff, great food, everyone was helpful, from the bellman to service staff.

This will be my spot when I visit Cancun ! Great place for all types, we traveled as a couple on our anniversary.

Palace Resorts you ROCK !

“Family fun”

Last summer my family and I spent one week at the Cancun Palace. We enjoyed the lovely beach and activities at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We used our hotel credits to explore the sites and adventures in the local area. The Cancun Palace was very economical and had all visitor needs readily available right at the hotel. We had a fabulous family venture in Cancun!

Room Tip: The rooms facing the hotel beach and the water are lovely balcony views.

“Best Palace Resort vacation so far”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

We stayed in October 2011 for our 3rd Palace resort vacation. We have previously stayed at the Aventura and Moon Palace. We stayed as a guest of members.

Pros:
Sept-October are when the sea turtles lay their eggs and if you are very observant than you can get the opportunity to release baby sea turtles at night. You will see the turtle egg areas in little fenced off areas on the beach. The Palace person in charge of the program is the Entertainment Program director - look for him and inquire. This is an amazing experience and really made our vacation!

Cancun Palace is wonderfully located on the hotel strip and you can walk right down the driveway and safely, easily and cheaply (approximately $1.00 per trip) jump on the city bus and go down town or go to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. If you go to Isla Mujeres, definitely go to Isla Mujeres Palace as their resort is peaceful and beautiful, much quieter than Cancun Palace!

The maid service was really top notch and every single day we came back to a different towel animal, sometimes flowers, and sweets (once a cake, other times chocolates, petit fours, or chocolate covered fruits). I really loved the animals, and always saved them until the next day when the previous days animal disappeared and a new creation took its place.

We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and we were given the option to order anything that we wanted at any of the Cancun Palace restaurants. We chose the Italian restaurant and unfortunately they were out of octopus, which I had requested for my dish. In order to make up for this, they sent us to La Blanc's italian restaurant for dinner which was absolutely AMAZING. I thought that this was very nice of them and I really appreciated the gesture.

Cons:
The beds are quite hard. To help combat this, upgrade to the conceirge service and get a pillow top; this helps quite a bit.

The planners to help you plan how to spend your points are not particularly helpful so read up ahead of time on all of your options and approach the planners with a clear idea of what you want and what is available.

There is not a lot of variety for breakfast, in fact Cancun Palace has probably the worst breakfast that I have seen at any of the palace resorts. That being said, the food is not bad, just limited. Definitely try the hot chocolate, it's wonderful!

We do not have children, and one of the reasons that we travel in the fall is to avoid other peoples' children. I was frankly amazed by how many children that were present in October!

Overall we had a wonderful trip this year and we definitely plan on returning in the years to come!

Room Tip: Definitely go with the ocean view. To avoid kids, go with the upgraded higher floor rooms.

“Absolutely Perfect!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We went to Cancun back in July and were actually staying at another location close by (not All Inclusive). We ended up taking a day tour there. We ended up moving over to Cancun Palace for the last two days and our stay and service was just like being in Paradise! Will definitely stay their or at a sister Palace Resort on our next visit

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We were at the Cancun Palace at the end of Jan 2012 to do a site tour of our wedding end of June 2012. It was amazing. The resort was clean and beautiful. The staff was amazing. The food was great. The 24 hour room service was even better. I have been to many resort and worked at Club Med, this experience exceeded my expectation.

It was a little hard to get a hold of the wedding planner since reception was under construction. Once I got a hold of Luigi, the Conference Concierge, my worries went away. He spent a lot of time talking to us and ensuring our wedding co-ordination will be done without a glitch. He gave me his personal contact so we can communicate closer to the wedding date. That is the service I expect when I am bringing 30 guests to the resort in June. Again, he was exceptional. We did get a hold of the wedding planner but unfortunately we couldnt really get anything confirmed since the booking of the weddings go through Miami. That kinda sucks.

The lobby bar was so much fun. Other than they play the SAME music over and over again Rock and Roll). Abriham was the best. Any drink you can think of... he can make. Before your last sip is gone another drink is waiting for you. We would spend hours watching him put on a show. He would keep the bar rocking. We would come up to the bar and if there wasn't a seat available Saira would be behind us with chairs that she carried across the bar without us even knowing. Again, exceeding our expectations. Eber, Julian, Carolina were also amazing. The wine and spirit selection was excellent.

The food was fantastic! Lots of selection. The sushi bar was our fav. We ate sushimi everyday. The tapanaki was also awsome. The Italian was also good. The pool side bar was outstanding. I have to say, the burgers were soooo good. I think I had a burger EVERY day.
TIP: wear tight clothing in the begining of your trip and save the loose ones for the end of your trip.
Our room was on the 3rd floor facing lagoon and the roof of the boiler room. It was terrible. It was loud too. You could hear the noise from outside when we slept. We were right outside the steak house. It was unfortunate that we didnt get to use our patio due to the noise. We asked to move but reception said we may be able to move the next day. We didnt want to wait to unpack and stayed at the room. I am hoping Luigi will be able to have this arranged for us in June. The room was clean. Housekeeping was awesome.

We used our credits for the couples massage (well worth it). Lobster dinner was in the conference room since it was windy and raining (not worth it). Next time I would suggest guest just to upgrade their rooms if they are not wanting to do excursions. We left not using $800 credits.

We had a exceptional trip. We are very excited to be back in June to get married and to bring our friends and families to this wonderful resort.

Pauline

Room Tip: try to get a room on the 5th floor or higher.
