“Just Returned From Beach Palace, Cancun”

Enjoyed another great Palace Resorts Vacation. Feb 4-11, 2012 at The Beach Palace. Last year we spent the week at the Cancun Palace. We loved this place. It is smaller than Cancun Palace, yet so many different things. The staff, as at every Palace Resort goes above and beyond to help take care of your needs. The beach and ocean there compare to none. We visited Moon Palace for the day and the beach is horrible. Totally flat, no waves, no blue turquiose color and very small. We wish they offered a few more dining choices, but took a taxi to Cancun Palace and enjoyed two fabulous dinners. My only negative about this trip, the Palace Resort Sales Staff try very hard to get you buy up as members. We are happy with our current membership and had no desire to buy up, with that said, we felt as if we were totally dismissed as if we didnt matter. They better remember we are still VIP members and should treat us with respect.

Room Tip: All rooms are with Ocean Front or a Lagoon view. Either way, the view is beautiful. You either enjoy...

This hotel has the "cream of the crop" of employees working here! Everyone is just delightful... so helpful and sincerely interested in each guest having a great experience. The restaurants are all spectacular. The hotel is very clean, with staff constantly cleaning, polishing and shining. If you truly desire a place to get some R and R, book here!

“We'll be back!”

When we decided to go to Cancun and take our 4 year old, I knew I had to find a family-friendly resort. This is it. Right from the start at check-in, I knew it would be a great week. It is such a beautiful property. We generally don't do the all-inclusive thing, but with a 4 year old, it can get expensive dining out, especially when they don't eat much. The restaurants here are all great. They also allow you to eat at the other Palace properties in Cancun, but we didn't need to. There is plenty of food and lots to choose from. There is food available and included 24/7. From the restaurants to room service and the ability to order food at the pools and bars. The employees are all so happy to help too. When you can remember names, you know they are doing a great job. Carlos at the front desk is such a great, happy, helpful guy. Made my daughter smile from ear to ear. Gabriella makes awesome breakfast, Fernando took care of us at the guest services desk and Carla took such great care of our daughter in the Kids Club, she can't wait to go back and see her! The entire staff is truly happy to see you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Make sure you check out the pools on the roof. Not too many people knew about it, and was always fairly empty. A few things I noted were that the main pools were chilly. The ocean was warmer on most days. Although it’s awesome that they have free wi-fi throughout the hotel, the wi-fi in the rooms was down the entire week. I know you don't go on vacation to waste time on Facebook, but we wanted to Skype with our other daughter, and didn't want to be making a scene in the lobby (the only place the wi-fi was functioning). But that's neither here nor there...I'm sure it's fixed by now. At the time of this review, there had a special promotion giving you resort credits depending on how many nights you stay. If you're into excursions, there are a few to choose from. To use it at the spa or some other places, you are limited at how much you can use. But, I suppose one should not complain about getting something for nothing. One nice touch is that they let you make unlimited FREE calls to the US & Canada. This is a huge plus...so leave your cell phone off! If you are familiar with Cancun, this hotel is located right near Flamingo Mall. It was about a 15-20 minute walk up to Sr. Frogs. Buses are convenient, quick, safe and cheap (currently 85 pesos, or about 85 cents, depending on conversion rates). Overall, I highly recommend this property, and am looking forward to returning soon.

Room Tip: We chose the ocean view room, and I think it was well worth it. We are earlybirds, so it was awesom...

My husband and I just returned from vacationing for 2 weeks at the Beach Palace in Cancun. We've been members of Palace Resorts since 2004 and must say the Beach Palace was the BEST!! The entire hotel was extremely clean and the staff was amazing! Many thanks to all of the pool bar staff; Erick, Alexis, Fernando, Roldolto, Isabel and Sarahi!! They were all so nice and so much fun to be around! Also, hats off to all of the chefs; everyday the food was AMAZING, much better than any other Palace Resorts we have stayed at. Many thanks to all of the Front Desk staff as well; they all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. And thanks to Luis Juarez with Guest Services for the wonderful conversation while we waited for our cab to the airport! Our vacation at the Beach Palace could not have been any better and we want to say a big THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STAFF!!! Wishing each of you a wonderful 2012 and can't wait to return next year!!! The Davenports.

“Maybe the best hotel we´ve ever been”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

This is really one of the best hotel we´ve ever been! The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were expecting to have a double room with a king bed but have been assigned a twin room. We asked for a change at the reception, and next day we had a king
room with a huge bacolny. All rooms are great and quite large. They all have a double hot tub.

The service at the hotel is great and fast. It is really a high level all inclusive hotel. Everything you need is there. Just ask to the room service or to the express service if you need something.

The beach is also very beautiful. No need to run to reserve a deck chair early in the morning! As the resort is not a big one like others in Cancun, there is enough space for all.
The beach is very clean. There is a snack service directly on the beach.

Food is also great. For lunch, the mexican buffet is good. For diner, I personaly do like the italian restaurant (Bocelli) and the Steack House with delicious grilled shrimps. A special thank to the restaurant manager "Don Juan" who makes your stay even more agradable.

We had 1500 credits (US dollars) with our room. You can use these credits for some additional services at the hotel. We used them for a Dolphin Swim (great), two sessions of SPA treatements, two romantic diners with lobster and champagne, and a bottle of champagne (very well-known brand from France).

The location of the hotel is very good. At walking distance from two malls, a mexican one with typical mexican products, and a more traditional one with well-known brands. Another shopping center is at about 10 minutes in taxi.

We will certainly come back to this hotel. A great choice!

Room Tip: I personal recommend to have a room with number endind in 1 (we has the 701).They are at the corner...
