Althouh this hotel is in the center of Cancun...the services is terrible ... The staff is very unprofessional and won't even bother to help when needed... No Internet service. False advertisement ...

This hotel is in the center of downtown Cancun. It is about 5 minutes away from the ADO bus station. we got charged 40 pesos for the taxi ride here. The rooms are very nice and modern. Nice comfortable bed, nice cable tv, air conditioning, a safe, closet, a nice bathroom and shower with hot water. The internet is not wireless, however there is a desk inside the room and you can just plug the cable into your laptop to get internet access. Overall, this place is nice and cheap. You can also cross the street and you can catch the bus R-9 and it will take you to walmart in case you need anything for 6 pesos per person. I would recommend this hotel as it is very nice, clean and modern. Have absolutely nothing to complain about!

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights on our way back from Tulum. The Hotel is in the city center. It is close to big markets for shopping, restaurants, and bars. There is free Wi-Fi, but only in the lobby. The rooms and bathroom were clean, but the bed was small. You get a free safe, and for the price it's a pretty good spot. Don't come here expecting luxury though. It was a regular room with regular amenities.

FYI....There is no elevator so be prepared to lug your bags up a few flights.

I stayed at the Suites Gaby for one night coming back from Merida on the way to the airport. It's located just a few blocks from the ADO station. I had planned to walk to the hotel, but the streets, sidewalks and curbs in that area are so torn up, I took a taxi. If you have a backpack or a real carry-on, it's OK. For wheeled luggage in the heat of the day, forget it.

There are quite a few restaurants near the hotel as well as a convenience store. As a single traveler, I never felt unsafe.

There is free Wifi in the lobby but no elevators, so again the luggage thing might not be a problem when traveling light.

The room was very clean, modern and sparse (which I prefer) with a decent bed, a free room safe, some bottled water and A/C that worked well. The rain forest shower head was an unexpected treat as was the new flat screen TV.

For the price for a few days or as a base of operations, this place was great. With no pool, however, I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation destination.
