I actually stayed at this property in May of 2007. The hostel is a modest place with basic amenities. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we had a private bathroom. They served a continental breakfast in the morning for a quick start. We used it as a stop over on our way to Holbox Island. It is the centre of the market area where you can find great food and shopping. We plan on staying there again this year for another stop over.

i stayed at haina hostel and it was awesome...the staff was really helpful, especially Luis! the rooms were clean and the people were fantastic.... i would definetely stay there again!! great location!

well it is really not that close to the hotel zone but if you take the bus its fine. private rooms have air conditioning but the shower was cold. some working people there couldnt speak english. breakfast was fine. sometimes i was afraid someone could steel my stuff. rooms smelled old and frowsty. you should book a shuttle since the airport is pretty far away. fridge in room wasnt working. we wanted to pay our stay with credit card just as we told to but when we got there we wernt able to pay with it so we needed to get american dollars

After traveling around the Yucatan for a month this was just the spot to rest before flying home.Small,clean,rooms with immaculate sheets and spotless bathrooms.TV and mini fridge.Round the clock front desk person was so welcoming!Bus station/shuttle to Airport 10 minute walk. Chedraui grocery store 4 blocks away.But best of all,awesome food at Don Javier's Quesadillas (open till midnight) and the cafeteria style Los Huaraches de Alcatraces.
