We LOVED staying here. It was really like a little home-away-from-home. Hilda, the hostel owner, speaks English extremely well and is so accommodating. We knew we could count on her for anything we needed or had questions about. It was so nice to have access to a kitchen (there is a kitchenette for tenant use). Our room was air conditioned really well (sometimes too well for my taste!) and the room was very comfortable. Clean sheets, towels, blankets, etc. The hostel is a little bit far away from the main Cancun hotel zone (where all the really nice beaches are), but besides that, it's walking-distance away from a WalMart, Costco, and Sam's Club, along with other grocery stores and markets. We liked the crowd of people Casa Mexico Tipico attracted too. We had many great conversations with people who were staying at this hostel in the common room and made friends we won't forget. We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever back in the Cancun area. Thanks, Hilda!
