You will not find a better hostel anywhere in Mexico.Beautiful colonial estate with a great location. The owner Monica makes you feel completely at home. The facility and grounds are very clean. The breakfest and dinner were very good.Evening atmosphere was wonderful especially the music Monica plays throughout the evening. The staff was very helpful and courteous.I had a wonderful time.Going back to Cancun april 2012 ,guess where I will be.

“Best place I stayed in Mexico.”

This hostel felt like home. The food was great, clean rooms, hot water, building with a lot of character and a nice garden.

Felt like staying with family-hands down the best hostel I stayed in in Mexico.

“Way bad than normal hotel”

This hostel is just so-so, not as good as normal hotel.

First of all, it's expensive. Although the food is included, it is still unworthy. Also, the dinner supposed to start at 8PM. However, eating around 10PM is what usually happened. You just sit there and wait for the dinner forever. One thing is good that you meet new people here (during the dinner). But come on, you can meet new people anywhere. Go to the public beach, more people there.

One more thing, there's so many mosquitoes in the room, which you will never find in the hotel. Also, the stairs is too dangerous, definitely not a good design for old people.

I will never go back to this place again. Oh by the way, they never do my laundry.

“A Home Away from Home”

Our stay here was more like a house with friends than a bulk accomadation stay. Perhaps not the colours you would use in your home but made for a positive mood and fits in well with the rest of Cancun. We stayed in a spacious private room with own bathroom which was such a releif after our recent experience in a hostel in Miami Beach but after seeing the 16 bed shared dorm we would of been happy to opt for that option also. It was very spacious with plenty of room to put your bags and for the cost would have been great. The food was fantastic with breakfast cooked at your request by the wonderful staff and dinner was set around a long table so you could exchange stories with all the guests over a typical mexican style meal. We did not stay long enough to experience any of the nights out or tours that they arrange but am sure that they would be great value also.

“Top class”

This is the best Hostel I’ve stayed at. You get breakfast included. It is basic but you also get fresh filter coffee. You also get dinner, it is basic too but everyone in the hostel sits down to eat dinner together in the garden. It is a great way to meet people. Have your main meal at lunch time though. They also organise the evening out for those wanting to head to the big clubs in the hotel zona.

The Hostel was very clean. they have a lounge with cable TV, and one PC for public use as well as wifi. THey sell beers at 15 Pesos (cheapest I found in Mexico outside of a supermarket) as well as cold drinks. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a roof terrace if you want to catch some sun without going to the beach.

The location is in the town center so there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately is is not near the beach but I haven’t found any hostels that are. You can Taxi to the beach or catch the R1 bus (9 pesos) which is a 3 minute walk away.
