The hotel is comfortable and you can have a nice view of the port. Also you can reach the city centre walking through the "malecon" (seafront) and go to have a breakfast to "La Parroquia" or have an icecream with the "Gueritos" everything close to the hotel.

Average hotel at an above average price, nice indoor pool, boring room, good bed, good shower, expensive resturant.

I probably wouldn't stay there again,

Solid 50 GBP per night hotel. Room service OK. If you want a western hotel, with air con, in Veracruz this is for you. Two gripes: pool was a bit leafy (i.e. could do with a more regular clean during the day) and internet only in the lobby via wireless.

Hubby and I wanted to spend one night in Veracruz before heading to his town in central Mexico. I'm not a resort person, but we wanted a bit of luxury, and the Fiesta Inn was a perfect choice. Not only did we have a third-floor corner room that overlooked the port and ocean, but the room was immaculate.

We arrived slightly grimy from an overnight flight/long car-ride, respectively, and were thankfully greeted by a very friendly staff who valet-parked the car and checked us in hours before normal arrival times.

We didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. The best part was the view, waking up in a sleek room and being able to look out over the ocean, down one a few vendors on the pier, being walking distance from all of downtown Veracruz. If we are there again, we'll definitely stay.
