Our stay at this hotel was one that was planned 1 day before. I stayed at this hotel with two small kids. My overall experience was good. The facade and lobby is very nice. The only problem was that the hotels sits on a very busy street. Their is construction going on next door. Was not bothered by it at all. We had our rooms facing the port, the view was beautiful. The rooms are a little dated. The beds are nice and firm if that was you like. The bathroom had a great big soaking tub. The maid service do work a little slow. They usually didn't show up til around 3pm, twice we arrived back and they were just finishing up. The pool was nice and deep all around. There are about two kiddie pools. They were not very clean. The other pool was cleaned every morning. The view from the pool deck was beautiful. Overall, I would try to look for another hotel closer to the center. This hotel was far away from downtown. Their was a couple of lounges across from the street did not go but looked like they were busy.

It's nice the view to the sea, even within the cold pool, the restaurant is small, and the atenttion is right on avilable days, in holidays isn't great!, the bar isn't nice!, I recommend only hotel!, the xtra service are bad

Its a nice place to stay. Good service and food. Have stayed here at leasted 3 times. It located by the water and near many attractions. My room was nice and clean. Best rooms are the ones with the port view of Veracruz.

I have stayed at Lois many times, with never a problem. The pool is wonderful, the rooms adequate +, the staff very friendly and receptive.

It has declined, however, since my first visit. It had an upscale restaurant and a very comfortable "cafeteria," both of which were very enjoyable. Several years ago, they deleted the cafeteria and combined everything into the former upscale space. Now the restaurant service is run-of-the-mill in comparison to what it used to be.

Also, they have destroyed the open feel of the lobby with the bar (barely adequate description because it was one of the premier nightlife attractions of Veracruz) by constructing a wall.

It was like a mini-resort for which I was willing to pay. Now, it seems over-priced. Unfortunate for me, because I liked it the way it was.
