We were here for the "Day of the Dead", a time when the town is jumping. The location can't be beat, just a couple of blocks from all the action. The hotel is spotlessly clean, but the rooms are small and dark (no windows but a tiny one opening onto an interior courtyard). Room lighting is adequate but not bright. The absence of exterior windows is necessary because of the street noise, and even being in the back of the hotel we had to leave on the fan of the air conditioner as white noise; but with it, the room was very comfortable for sleeping. Breakfasts are good--American or Mexican, and cooked to order.
